My funniest memory of Donovan Dijak was at an N.E.W. show in Newburgh, NY. Card was headlined by Cody (Champ) v. Adam Cole. Dijak wrestled Jack Swagger. Crowd starts chanting "U.S.A. - U.S.A. - U.S.A.". Dijak yells out to the crowd, "I'm an American you idiots!".
I am Dijak's bigest fan and I just love to learn about him . I could listen to him all day long , he is so passionate. He is the absolute best wrestler ever , I always said and believed that . He is right about himself , and he now can prove WWE wrong to never truly believe in him. It is heartbreaking to listen to all those bad things that happenned but he always did his best .❤He is my big hero
This was a very measured look back at his time in WWE. I know some people gravitate toward the negative experiences Dijak talked about in these interviews, but I appreciate that he also talked bout how thankful he was for the positives. There are ups and downs but no sour grapes. WWE has a lot of improvements they need to make, and Dijak was right in the middle of the shift to new leadership. I'm hoping they handle talent turnover better in the future. Hopefully, when the new regime has fully taken over, there will be more transparency around stars leaving.
Man and I just started becoming a huge fan of Dijak recently especially after that stand and deliver match he had. Very disappointed he was let go because he really made me a fan from just that single match but I’m excited to see where he goes because I will definitely follow
Saw dijak at a ring of honour show in Leicester and was super impressed with his match against lio rush and later in the night walked past him as he sat down to catch one of the last few matches I really wanna to say how much I liked his match but didn't wanna fanboy out too much. Gonna be a great get for whatever promotion he ends up in, good in ring and fun social media too
I dont watch a ton of WWE because there's just too much wrestling on TV, but one of the guys that would always make me pay attention is Dijak. That dude is so legit and I cant wait to see what he does next.
WWE dropped the ball with a lot of black & gold talent from 2017-2020. It’s like they wanna erase that era because they lost to AEW. Still crazy the amount of talent that got let go from 2019-2022.
Let's get dijak in aew mixing it up with the meat planet division. I'll even make the extra effort to check out GCW if he lands there with a prominent match or run
This is one of the best inside looks on WWE I've seen in a hot minute. Dijak talking about how Shane Haste has been attempting to undo the damage of WWE's fucking awful booking was heartbreaking. That's a prime example of why I can't stand watching WWE even when the product is "good". Between the Saudi shit, the Vince lawsuits and Hunter's shitty ass response to it, the cuts for no reason, and seeing guys like Jey Uso giving you the shittiest matches in years and still being a main event talent. That shit is so insanely bad.
Reddit had a meltdown about this interview; I've never seen an interview get buried so hard. I guess because it didn't portray WWE as a perfect company? They're still doing a lot of the same rotten shit they always did. Which is unfortunate, because they have so much great talent, and some parts of the shows are very good. Great interview, thanks.
think this might be the readon he was not offered a contract he seems very mouth too happy to spill everything if hes like this now maybe he said wrong thing to wrong person n they snitched on him, comes across atm a bit like ryback

Great interview. You can tell how passionate he is about wrestling. He's destined for great things.

Big Dijak fan based on his amazing work in the ring. WWE dropped the ball with such a talent, and I’ll be following him wherever he goes

I’ve liked a lot of Fightful interviews & this could be recency bias but this might be my favorite. What a likable guy
I was very happy with it. Glad you liked it!
Well Dijak has been giving information to Fightful so..

Dijak seems like a decent dude. Hope he does well. His match with Brodie Lee is one of my favorite from both wrestlers.
Seems like a good fella
I just found out recently that shane haste was part of this group...unbelievable

Nope. This isn't why. There are literally people on their roster who have done this
Donovan Dijak needs to go to NJPW with his size and agility he can be Japans next Mike Awesome.
