Those guys have been building pedigree well designed and thought out yachts for decades. Stunning the space they have created in this seize hull is a new benchmark for the industry a game changer and the interior design and finishes are sublime
what is the point of dual helms in a CC? not split access to swim platform, not visibility as CC is elevated...these are just silly style now I guess? Love the boat otherwise. They even put dual helms on the 34 - that's ridiculous...and a bow thruster...
The twin rudders are because the aft section is a lot wider to increase cockpit comfort and below deck ..... when the boat is healing it still needs full rudder contact with the water....get it?? hence the bow and aft thrusters as the prop wash is not passing around the central single rudder any more ( the boat cannot steer at slow speed when leaving or entering the dock for example) that is why even a 34 foot has twin rudders and front and rear thrusters ...... hope you learned something you NOOB!!!!! I suppose you sail a dinghy
@@michaelholmes6152 OK I think I got it now, so people want fat stern boats and extra room back there so bad they are willing to require two rudders to maintain steerage at extra cost and the loss of ability to maneuver in marinas so they also need thrusters to remedy that and oh yeah now we need twin helms even on a 34 or in a CC so the boat looks ridiculous, but hey they have a fat stern boat with extra room and motion discomfort. Great. Thanks. No.
Would be fantastic to look over all these boats, but Australian sailors don't warrant a boat show where they are available to view apparently. And I CBF travelling thousands of Km's to just have a look.
Having a large bed in the middle of the cabins = It's very comfortable to stay and live in the port! But stay in port with a Halberg Rassy of more than 50 "and more than a shame! So I can still tell you that from experience that on long passages in rough and short seas = on your large in Ilo bed you go from side to side. and often we have to use the saloon bench to sleep, or lie down on the flo between these large beds and the wall !? So why not put double beds in the cabins !? Because in addition = if you have crew for long passages, we can't ask everyone to kindly sleep in the same bed! I think a large corner bed or made in the transverse of the boat for the owner's cabins would be an idea or at least having two cabins with more double bunk beds is also possible !? On boats from 44 "to 64" it is not a problem of space! Note that a sailor's cabin on a large unit is very useful for an owner an a little old help to dock the boat, wash the boat back to port, load and unloading goods and various materials, filling up with fuel and water, emptying the oil engine, on long passages and in bad weather only helping the owner is more than necessary and much more still. It's only my idea, and when we ask in the boat show why there is no cabin with double bed, we are told that the boat works by pushing buttons and that we do not need a Crew! = YES okay! but as I said above = we can not all do with buttons! Having Hallberg Rassy 64 and Amel 60 to stay in port only to take advantage of their large double bed in Ilo = once more is a shame !! Thank you for your opinion :)
hallberg should tell the customer no when they want what they want ? you do understand that hallberg will build whatever the customer wants? like this boat... ( hallberg have built every bed configuration imaginable, my 42f had full size bed aft)

Just two words : Beautiful boat !
Always amazed such beautiful yachts have those cheap looking plastic fans...
Never thought about that
Nice to see those hull side windows on at least the bow cabin.. Such fantastic sail boats..
Loved that aft owner’s stateroom. Wow. The oak interior wood is beautiful.
God, what a beauty, I did not even think that this could be a reality, as in books from childhood
HR 57 or Amel 60? I'll come back soon to check answers.
Thank you in advance!
HR 57
I think hr 57
floating condo Amel, sailing around the world HR.
Just a kickass boat... Missing a galley extractor fan, my only complaint...
Rudders look vulnerable. Large transum door will hit waves so be careful.

@@michaelholmes6152 He was talking about the helm, not the rudder......
@@tip00former1 Again a twin helm reduces the space required for the steering rack and pinions used by HR

P.S. the HR 40C is awesome, dual rudder CC with ONE helm position. This is sane.

Трудно, видимо, было втиснуть в кокпит два штурвала. Зачем мучались?

Lee cloth!
Irgendwie in der Vergangenheit stehen geblieben. Die kleinen Plsrikventilatoren sind besonders putzig.
Seems like a small amount of refrigeration for a world cruiser
Which boat are you talking about? This one has four big fridges, is that a "small amount"?
why this annoising music????
