If Fanbulleh ever figures out how to start it's going to be over for the rest of collegiate track. He pops straight after he starts. He need to stay low and extend his drive phase. I'm positive his coach has told him that. He just has to implement that into his repertoire. His top end speed seems to be the best.

I think it was a mistake for Boling to leave Houston, but he honored the first school that showed interest and that was Georgia and Petros Kyprianou. Although Kyprianou is one of the best field and multi-events coaches in the world, I question his sprinting mechanics teaching techniques; someone commented that Boling looks like he is fighting himself, and it's painful to watch Elija Godwin run a 400m.. Furthermore, see how many sprinters have left early from Georgia, or transferred (Miller-Uibo, Irby, Davis...). And now that Kyprianou is leaving Georgia, I question what happens to his development under Althea Tomas.
Carl Lewis and Leroy Burrell have quickly built a competitive cohort by simply mining their backyard for talent and sprinkling in international talent. It baffles me that they get an audience with Boling. And, yes, I am a little biased towards Boling , because he is a Texan :)

Well, he had a better time in the 100 heats than Laird or Fanbulleh. You should be asking why Masuangani isn't in the title. I believe Boling should start training for the Decathlon. His coach at Georgia is said to be good at the field events and with his sprinting, 400 meters, long jump and high jump he just needs to develop his 800 and 1500 meters, the shot put, javelin and pole vault. He looks to be a natural for the pole vault as long as he does not have a fear of heights. He will be able to relax more as he won't be up against elite sprinters, just good ones.
