Luciana Serra is the soprano singing Queen of the Night. For me I find her voice strident and abrasive.

Opera for me is an oral, aural tradition and sacred art.

There is nothing about the techniques and traditions of bel canto in this video. You would expect that if he mentions that it is something special and based on physical actions that were developed by physicians of some sort that there would actually be a description of those actions. No. The main point is that the singers could make some extraordinary sounds and vocal gymnastics and they used them to the point of ruining the opera. The composers had to insist that they stick to the script. But nothing about how they made these sounds or controlled their voice. Thus no technique was explained.

Bartoli as an example of excellent bel canto technique? 😂
Sutherland called her vocal production odd......

Whether you like the voice or not, she's able to do some amazing things and her breath support is wonderful. Sutherland knew nothing about the training of castratos. Her knowledge and technique came from a later period. Even Sutherland had a interesting way of singing. I think she had to change her approach to singing after a delicate surgery on her nasal passages due to a severe infection in the early to mid 60s. Listen to her Italian diction from the late 50s then compare to the late 60s into the 70s

Caecilia Bartoli ist ja ganz einfach eine Katastrophe, nicht auszuhalten und das Gegenbeispiel für exemplarischem BelCanto Gesang. Das muss ein Spezialist ja wissen.
