My key fob broke, if i change the key fob for 2015 ecoboost mustang do i need to reprogram the new fob ? Or can I just transfer the stuff inside over ?
Hi Briszada! When you say it broke, do you mean the outside case? If that is the case yes the insides can be transferred over to a new remote case and work like before (no programming needed) assuming the electronics were not damaged when the original remote case broke. Hope this helps, Cheers!
I'm done with the Fob. Anyone know around around how much it would cost to replace the fob with a key?
Hi M! It is going to depend on the locksmith you get it from, I would recommend getting several quotes so you can get the best price. The dealer will likely be the highest cost somewhere in the $400-$500 range based. On some vehicles, sometimes cost will also depend if you only have one key left or if you have two, or you have lost all keys. Cheers
Thanks mate,my key was running low and flashing on dash for afew days and l took the courage to replace myself. At first l was sceptical but with help from your video. I thought if l stuffed the key l had the spare if l damaged while replacing. Your video was clear and super easy to do understand. Thanks and happy cruising. 🤗

What about the piece of paper covering the bottom of the battery that you didn’t pull out? Aren’t you supposed to remove that?
Hi Harsh! That plastic divider is there from factory and is part of the remote (meant to be sandwiched in between both batteries and seen on the video) I would not recommend removing it. Cheers!

What happens if i threw away the plastic wrapper inside
I did the same thing by accident, but it still works for me.
Just put small piece of Saran Wrap between the two batteries.
