- Here's all you need to know about Tata's upcoming mid-size SUV - Curvv - that will be available in both ICE (petrol & diesel both) and EV options. While the EV model will be based on the company's new Acti.ev platform, the ICE version is based on the revised Nexon platform. Though it's 4.3 metres in length, it looks a lil smaller due to its coupe-SUV shape. The petrol version will feature the new 1.2-litre Turbocharged engine, whereas the diesel will be the same as Nexon and most likely in the same configuration as well.

I remember the last design in from previous auto expo. But this more practical and refined design won my heart! I was very close to get a nexon but after watching this design I will holding myself for it's launch or launch price 😅

Guys don't get me wrong, it somehow look like benz AMG design like raised and bulky sedan which is good to see. Both sedan design (Aerodynamic) and good ground clearance.
What about refinement of gears& fit finish product. Because tata after launchinh it's product keeps refining it.
From the side view the bonnet looks too short in length or may be because the height is slightly raised.

Can 3 ppl sit in the back seat? How is the width compared to Creta. One reason I am avoiding Elevate is the space for 3 in the back seat.

Although Creta is not a Coupe so it's a new segment altogether but if I've to choose between Creta and Curvv I'd go for Curvv anyday. One distinctive difference will be it won't be a common car like Creta which gets boring tbh but if i have to choose between Seltos and Curvv i might go for Seltos tgdi DCT/imt but yeah rest we will get to know after it comes to showrooms nd when geniune reviews comes up🙌🏼

I think, TATA has tried to offer two in one package, taller stance and ground clearance like SUVs and space, comfort and boot like Sedans.
It seems entirely different design but the success will depend on liking of Indian consumers.
Let's hope that TATA improves upon final fit and finishes and their service station experience.
Actually tata is optimising parts and supply chain to reduce cost.. cars belonging to different segment but built on same platform with similar looks have more common parts.. so more similar parts means more economy of scales and better costs.. you can see the same pattern in german brands like Audi and Merc. Most of their sedan, suv bear similar looks with different lengths

This is called coupe SUV india mein pehli baar aesi car launch ho raho hain.so most of the people don't know about this but international markets mein aesi design already bikti hain.

The rear tyre profile should be large, at least 220 to 230, else it looks like body fitted on Suzuki dezire frame

Aage se dekho to saaf dikh raha hai ki Nexon facelift ka pichwada nikaal dia hai jabki concept wala version sabse awesome tha.
I personally feel like this car looks as if a sedan is lifted and place on four wheels with tall springs. The gap between the wheel and arches is a bit too much and doesn’t look proportional.
Earlier version had the better front look, really appealing ..... This looks the same as harrier
IT SHOULD BE LITTLE LONGER, LOOKS LIKE FRONT TAKEN FROM PUNCH AND BACK FROM TIAGOR. THATS INITIAL IMPRESSION, BUT I M SURE LOOKING AT IT IN REAL WORLD WOULD REALLY MAKES SENSE, BMW X6 LOOKS LIKE THIS

Side profile thoda ajeeb sa lag raha hai, sedan aur SUV ka mixture type..
Tata is trying to do the same thing with nexon and curvv what Porsche did with cayan and chayan coupe.
The previous concept was even better than this...The back connected lights and shape looked better before and obviously the tyres! And please I hope they change that nexon like front!
I think the marketing strategy of curv is not to show the car which is rival of creta seltos etc. Even if the dimensions are similar. They just doing nee design just like punch. When punch came in market and after success hyundai making exter,even kia is also making same type of car. And they compete with punch now.just like that i think tata is doing came up with different Design.and they never says it is going to compete with creta.

Personally feel Proportions are totally off. Silhouette looks like sub 4 meter compact sedan which is jacked up n the front and jacked up even more at the rear. It would look much much better if it was 4500+ mm in length
