- We're back on the island! This is my second Isle of Siptah playthrough, but the first in the Age of Sorcery and I have no idea where to find Kurak's lair and the magical artefacts and recipes that will start me off on sorcery. To do that I have to kill sorcerers till I find a map that will show me Kurak's hide-hole. However, first I need to settle down and find a base and luckily I have just the spot in mind...

Oh, you are doing a Siptah run! Will watch that also. Happy new year!
Oh, you are probably aware of that now, but food is no so good for healing anymore. At the very first stage you can always craft some rough wraps (just need fiber). They are ideal in the very beggining because they heal you up fairly quick.
I continue to re-watch these. Great vids, very entertaining sir.
Thanks Nathaniel. Much appreciated.
ow nice never seen any gameplay on this map XD
keep up the good work
Thanks Sir Koyas. Hope you enjoy the rest of the series.
I always love building on the island of dawn, lot of sunlight.
i play Conan exiles but i watch playthroughs because i always learn something that I've either not figured out or that i just ended up forgetting about
I keep forgetting stuff as well. Hope you're enjoying them.
@@GaudiaCertaminisGaming yea im enjoying them
Fast leveling by journey steps (PC player so PC controls):
1. Kick (Ctrl)
2. Dodge (Alt)
3. Drink (E - water all around)
4. Climb (run up to a boat side and press SPACE to start climbing)
5. Collect stuff from a corpse (press E on one of the dead sailors on the beach, lots around)
6. Make pants/shirt/handwraps/shoes - any one once you get enough plant fiber
7. Make a tool (I generally do Pick, Axe and Skinning Knife)
8. Dump 5 points into Expertise (get a perk, but also increases carry load enough to start with)
9. Go into Knowledge, collect all the 0-point weapon skills
10. Build a Dagger set, wooden shield, stone mace and stone spear (not a stone pike - fairly inexpensive set to build) - Make a weapon Journey step
11. Find a feral dog and run through the daggers combo (press Q to lock on if you want); LMB, LMB, RMB until you do the heavy finisher
11a. Journey Step (JS): Make an enemy bleed
11b. JS: Cripple an enemy (last heavy attack with daggers applies cripple)
11c. JS: Perform a heavy finisher
12. Switch to the stone spear, aim at the dog (if it's still alive, if not, find another one) and press RMB to throw the spear (JS: Shoot an enemy)
13. Switch to the stone club and do a heavy combo finisher - the dog should be dead by now:
13a. JS: Sunder an enemy
13b. JS: Slay!
14, Skin the dog (JS: Skin an enemy)
15. Make some healing wraps from plant fiber (1 combine makes 3)
16. Use the healing wrap if you're injured from fighting the dog (JS: Bind your wounds)
17. From the hides from skinning the dog, make a bedroll (costs about 3 hides as opposed to the one with the fiber and twine) and put that down (JS: Use a bedroll)
18. Make a small campfire, dump some wood in it, the feral meat and oyster flesh (if you've been picking that up), let it cook then eat the cooked feral meat (JS: Eat a filling meal - might also be one for just straight up eating)
Useful stuff thanks.
Happy New Year! Good to see new content :D
Hi Paul. Happy New Year to you too. Hope you enjoy the series.
I could almost hear the Benny Hill chase song as that gator chased you down that beach while you were yoink'ing' his oysters! A great start for the new year Gaudia! ;)
Thanks Peter. Hope you enjoy it.
One of the changes made is that you can make weapons from the start of the game. The knowledge skills for the basic weapons have no cost now and are available right away.
Interesting. Thanks.
You are right! It WAS the wreck of the Sea Dog... They changed it for some reason...
Thanks. I thought I might have been taking crazy pills.
Looking forward to this playthrough as I have never played, Isle of Siptah before, so please be as informative as you can.
Hi Andy. I'll do my best. Hope you like it.
I was waiting for this series to come! Happy new year!
Happy New Year, Holy Crab. Hope you enjoy it.
I once caught a turtle and threw it in an animal pen. It actually hatched as, would you believe, a turtle!! The cool thing about him was I was able to use him as a wandering treasure stash. I would drop magic weapons and shields into him to use as backups should I die. He just wandered around in front of my house. What was great about him was when my base got raided they never noticed the little guy in the terrain. Handy indeed but was at times frustrating to find him myself!
A portable safe. That's a great idea. If I see another one I might try growing one.
Use your hatchet on branches and boards to get more than just 1
Thanks. I keep forgetting that trick. I need to try it out.
Hello! I just subscribed to your channel because I've never even considered using the Isle Of Siptah before so I'm guessing this is going to be very different from the Exiled Lands.... It looks like fun....
Hi Ian. Thanks for the sub. I'd recommend Siptah to anyone. It's a lot of fun, but as you say it's quite a departure from the Exiled Lands. Hope you enjoy it.
@@GaudiaCertaminisGaming Well, I'm certainly enjoying it so far. By the way I started in the same area as your video (South East) and spent my first 5 attribute points on Vitality, which gives passive regeneration of hit points. Also when I made a stone hatchet, I used it to hit branches and bits of wood which gives multiple quantities of each. I don't know exactly where I'm camped but there's lots of resources (Wood, Stone, Water, food and Ironstone) nearby
New Khemi Docks is also an area where flotsam spawns in, right next to the boats that are "anchored" there. I do believe there was one crate there!
Thanks. I'd forgotten about that one.
you musta forgot about plant fiber bandages at level 60 ;)
I always forget about the bandages. Partly because they're not that much use in the middle of a fight. Sttill I ought to have some to heal up afterwards.
I really like the Siptah map. Haven't played on the base map since Siptah came out. Think it's partly just that I played it so much I got burned out on it, and partly because it seems there's so much more to do on Siptah, like the vaults, the maelstrom, they Grey Ones stuff, etc.
I agree there's more variety on Siptah. I'm looking forward to trying out the sorcery here. I found a Sorcerer's map so that's going to be in episode 4.
An invisible hyena head, would the display be just a blank board?
Intriguing. I might try that.
Hello! i know you have a lot of time in conan but see you pick the branches and rocks off the ground ... probably you know you can use the hatchet to gather more branches from the ground same with pick and stones ;)
Hi Bullwyrk. Not tried that before. I'll give it a go. Thanks.
The hatchet works with planks of wood as well
You can eat raw foods at the cost of poisoning.
Out of curiosity what does a server cost for a month? Always thought it would be fun to run one just so I could make grinding easier lol. Also do you have to worry about annoying sandstorms on this Island?
Hi lastwolflord, did I say I was on a private server? If so, I just meant I was playing off my console (PS5). You just select 'SinglePlayer/Coop' from the main menu when you want to start a new game. No sandstorms on the island, but you have the Maelstrom which is much more frequent and almost as dangerous. Lots of nasty things in the Maelstrom...
@@GaudiaCertaminisGaming Thanks for replying. I thought you were on a private server because you could choose the level at which you could collect items when grinding for material. Usually, the available server options where people who owned a server and set such options up.
i found a circle of mushrooms that cant be destroyed or collected any idea what it is i found it in grid L 10 bottom right
Interesting. It's probably just decorative, but I'll take a look next time I'm there.
i was thinking about playing this map never played it before. Do you think they will ever release another map.
There is a fan made map in mods section in steam. "Savage Wilds" is the name
Siptah is a lot of fun. It's a smaller map but there's so much to do. I would guess they would launch anther map at some point and I also hear that an expansion of the main Exiles map might not be out of the question. But I've heard nothing concrete.
Why don't you pick your fire up so you don't have to keep making a new one?
Partly because they're useful for when I go back that way again; mostly because I forget.
My favorite place to throw down a first Camp is actually at the location where you find the sorcerer's cave. I inadvertently ran across it when I was setting up my Camp the other day. You have a nice thrall Camp there that you can constantly pick from out of the jailer's cell plus get all other manner of slaves and it's not too far from the serpent man Elder cave
I've found a map now so I'll visit Kurak's lair in my next episode (number four, I think). I've started farming New Khemi Docks for prisoners. So much easier than bashing them.
