- Round one of the 2023 Pro Motocross season is officially in the books, as racing concluded just a few hours ago at Fox Raceway. There is certainly a lot to recap from the series opener and who better to detail all the action than the racers themselves. top tens in that field is completely unreasonable for him imo. He might be able to pick up the pace, but the 250 class is stacked big time
He was humble and that is a fine trait for rookie...He'll get better...
I think people are sleeping on Tom Vialle. He got better every single time he got on the track.

All the hater's and negative fans twords Young Deegan can just "Suck it" 2nd place at a pro national is God's speed.... look at the lap times, look how he charged in the first moto after a fall. Enjoy this, He is getting faster every week. the 250 class is loaded and FAST. compare lap times to the big boys and you will realize how crazy it is out there. Nice Job Hunter! I felt bad for RJ but 3rd is still Good!

Mosiman and jmarts performances were brutal. Other than that the 250 class was insane to watch
Mosiman I wasn’t surprised with, but i can’t believe Martin did that bad. He looked good in sx but just looked like shit Saturday and his qualifying was good. Idk what happened between that and the motos but he better figure it out soon. I think club mx is giving him too much freedom and not pushing him and ruining the last bit of time he has left to race pro at a high level. But that’s also not the type of track that fits his riding style so I expect him to get better as they go east.
Mosiman better start getting minimum 7th, up to 4th EVERY weekend from here till the end, or he will be on a privateer team!
His career has falling off a cliff. Hopefully the kid can snap out of it and get back.

@@alexhakkert4371 i would agree with that, he's definitely more aggressive. I think Cooper should beat him in the season points, but Deegan is motivated big time
Him being all over JC in that 1st Moto HAD to have put the rest of the Star boys on notice. If Cooper beats him much this season I would be surprised. You could see in the latest training videos they are going out of their way to show Haiden was on pace with Justin
@@alexhakkert4371 I agree. The kid is hungry. Lots of heart, rides aggressive, and in top shape.
And he isn’t even as fast (not yet), but has really good race craft. Good starter too, which pays off huge.
Cooper went from 20th to 4th in moto 2 and was closing on Deegan fast until a couple mistakes. Don't be surprised when he blows his doors off next week.

Indeed... Jo's woes stem from Geico.... I can't believe Geico still want to sponsor some of OUR sport, but screwed over one the best teama for up and coming talent, at such short notice. IF they gave a years notice, not 2 months, that team would have kept going and things would have been better for everyone on the team, and our sport overall, except the Lawrence Brothers, they probably would have been where they are today regardless.

I think DEEGAN is in the spectrum.....you see it in the eyes....he won't look others in the eyes like normal people.
But that's an ADVANTAGE, because they get super good in what they do
Hmm,.. interesting. But, also.. maybe he is shy... maybe some kind of strong, but legal pain killer is kicking in too.... Maybe just sick and tired of talking. On the podium his eyes dont seem to be like that, on average.

@@Motoinc I love the kid I'm certainly not talking shit but just the way he is awkward and giggly and the eye contact. If he is thats a very interesting dynamic. Good for him either way he killed it.

Danger boy works hard and is doing very well as I believe he should, but he’s no wonder boy. In the past a lot rookies come out and just win. Just sayin 🤘
The rookies come and win... often lucky enough the season they start is the year the previous champ(s0 all moved up.
I mean, there’s not a lot of rookies that have came in and won right away. But you also have to realize with all the high level training facilities, elite former pro trainers, And everything else that these kids have coming up in amateurs now, the talent and speed is so much faster and deeper than back then when some of these rookies would come in and win right away.

He got a good start first moto, he just had a tip over running over someone’s wheel or something, forgot exactly what they said had happened. That outside gate can be a good pick sometimes, you just have to get the jump perfect so you don’t get pushed wide.

@@cooperwelty4749 2021 he was awesome just kept getting hurt but i’m trying not to look too much into yesterday that track sucked and no much he could do about max going down right in front of him and it’s hard to come through the pack when it’s follow the leader everywhere everyone going inside hopefully hangtown will be better
