Just spent two hours analyzing and taking notes and still have 10 minutes left of the sermon! Thank you for speaking the truth so that we may grow strong together.
Wow I love this. I been searching for a church that doesn't water things down. I appreciate this so much. I will be attending in person from now on. God Bless you!!
Show me one thing JESUS himself said about it. I'll wait. Meanwhile, Jesus said *PLENTY* to condemn heterosexual DIVORCE, which hypocrites keep closing their eyes and stepping over: Romans 7:2-3 "For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him. So then, if she marries another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress." 1 Corinthians 7:39 "A woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but he must belong to the Lord." Matthew 5:32 "But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery." Matthew 19:9 "I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery." Luke 16:18 "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery." And Lev.20:10 clearly says adulterers should be put to death -- so goodbye Donald J. Trumpf. I'm tired of people treating their "holy book" like a bloody buffet table where they grab the things they like, and just ignore the parts they don't!
Beautiful Pastor Ryan!!! I have been fighting my local town council for the past year to stop the drag queen show they want to allow downtown in our town square for the 2nd year. THIS gives me more info than I can speak in 3 minutes. GOD BLESS YOU!!!
Hey, those people have the right to do that. Why don't you just concern yourself with your own life and stop meddling in other people's lives? It really bothers you that much? Then, metaphorically speaking, change the channel. Don't watch it and don't look at it. There you go 👍
@@Mark-h2s With respect, you're telling someone of Faith to mind their own business whilst going out of your way to mind their business. You write with anger and do not come off as a man of Faith. We could ask why you are here. I will pray you find peace and are able to not feel so much wrath in your heart.
@@christiandetailer I don't understand how my comment appears to demonstrate I'm angry, because I'm certainly not:-) If people want to dress in drag and have a drag show, then that's their business, right? As long as they aren't breaking down the doors of churches and doing it there. I also think I have a right to speak up about this. The person I responded to wants to take away certain people's freedoms. Does that person 'own' the Town square?
How can homosexuality be a sin when it's not even a choice? We can choose who we are intimate with, but we certainly can't choose who we are attracted to. Hey, fellow straight men reading this: remember when you went through puberty back in school? Remember when you got all excited when you looked at the pretty girls at your school? Yeah. Did you choose that? Did you go through puberty for a little bit, then wake up one morning and think to yourself, 'gee, I think I'm going to be attracted to girls?' Me either! I didn't choose to be straight. It's part of my biology. It just.. happened. Well, guess what? It works the same concerning homosexuality. You can't choose who you are attracted to, come on.
@@genchurchaz but being homosexual is not a choice. Genetics, hormones, environment.. different factors are involved, and none of them are chosen. I thought that in order for something to be a sin, it has to be a choice somebody makes.
@@Mark-h2ssin is a choice but there is no scientific evidence that homosexuality is inherited by genetics or otherwise hormones. Some men have lowered testosterone but that is not evidence of being born homosexual. So just because you were born with lowered testosterone does not mean you are born homosexual, you choose to be homosexual and therefore a sin. I know women with a lot of testosterone and have beards and mustaches but are not lesbians. It is a choice.
@@Mark-h2s A gay person can choose to not partake in the sexual act of their preference. Just as Christians know not to be sexually immoral as well. If someone is born gay that does not mean they have to partake in the sexual sin of sodomy.
@@christiandetailer right. The act itself is considered a sin according to the Bible. Acting on homosexual desires is a choice. Being homosexual is not.

Modern family accelerated homosexuality too

Homesexuality is a sin because the bible tells us it's a sin. And if you partake in homosexual acts, then you are choosing to sin.

Please define, "the active participant".
The "active participant" is the one performing the act. In other words, they are the ones choosing to sin.
Yes it is helpful but the new English versions change the meaning on some scriptures because of the choice of words.
