Yes! It was very exciting to witness! The helicopter sounded like it was circling our house at first. Even Stella was looking up at the ceiling in confusion.
@@jessicakirsh That does sound exciting! I've never lived in a city, or anywhere, that had a police helicopter, but we did have a manhunt on our road before. We were woken up to knocking at the front door at 11PM, with probably 8 police officers with flashlights searching under our deck, in my flipped over canoe, and all over our backyard before they all descended deeper into the woods searching for this guy. I guess he was in a car accident on the highway and just started walking into the woods in his confusion instead of waiting for help.They did track him down eventually. I guess they tracked him through the snow, across frozen rivers and over other mountain ridges before catching up with him. That was crazy! We do have an Emergency Medical Response Helicopter in our local hospitals Response team called DHART, that flies over our house a few times a week in it's regular flight path, but we used to have a pair of A-10 Warthog Fighter jets that would fly around our mountain, practicing barrel rolls and dives.That was really fun to watch!
I’ve seen them by my place when I first moved where I live now, looking for hit and run driver that had stolen a truck and hit a car head on and killed the woman inside. Do you know what the search was for?
