  • Anyone who has ever been on a cruise ship knows the "Crew Only" sign on a door and has wondered what's behind it. In an exclusive video, I invite you on a fascinating journey into the areas of cruise ships that are normally inaccessible to passengers. We'll explore the bridge and engine room, take a look at the storerooms and galley, visit the crew bar and crew cabins, and even discover a place that shipping companies are reluctant to talk about ...
Join me as we explore the hidden world beyond the passenger areas on cruise ships. The stunning images and videos in this video were collected over many years on rare occasions when I had the opportunity to look behind the scenes of various ships. As a result, I can show you spaces that were rarely accessible even to me as a cruise journalist in my nearly 15 years, especially since photos or videos are often simply forbidden in some areas by cruise lines.
In this behind-the-scenes video tour, we'll explore the bridge, engine room, engine control room, workshop, food storage, cold rooms, kitchens (galleys), laundry, garbage separation and disposal, and sewage treatment plant. We'll even take a look at the refrigeration chambers, which are for deceased passengers
In addition, I'll show you the areas where the crew lives and spends their free time, including the crew bar, lounges, gym, crew restaurant and, of course, examples of crew cabins. And we'll also take a look at the backstage area of the theater.
This exciting tour of the hidden worlds behind the "crew only" doors will show you how the crew works together in a complex system and with impressive logistics to keep the glittering world of cruising running smoothly for us passengers as we usually experience it.

:-) Danke.
