Hayi mani Nkululeko thi episode was rushed. The guy that was denied parole didn't kill Biko he killed Hani. Also GP said the Sobiko law instead of the Sobukhwe clause. "The Act included what was termed the 'Sobukwe Clause', which empowered the Minister of Justice to prolong the detention of any political prisoner indefinitely. Subsequently, Sobukwe was moved to Robben Island, where he remained for an additional six years. The Clause was never used to detain anyone else.". Thanks for the insightful perspective though. i enjoy your episodes.

Mr Podcast, smooth talker sugar coating everything as usual.
The skul issue is a huge concern, and we never had an issue being bitten at skul as we felt it was reprimand and all you wanted was to stay on the right side of the law. But kids nowadays have no respect, majority n you can see by pass rate and their pass mark of 30%
I agree with you on orange and brown....was talking to an ex who wears brown and he started initiating phone sex....was so annoyed am still annoyed now....this happened 10 years ago

The solution is simply that we need to change our sentincing system. Rather than say that one is sentenced 20 yrs and then they servce 7 yrs is totally confusing. The same way that a parole must be negotiated with the victim’s families.
I suggest that we should have straight and clear senticing system. For example 10 yrs without parole, 10 years withe allegibility to parole after serving 6 yrs, Life sentence without parole and Life sentence with allegible for parole after 28 years.
The parole board must not invovle victims and victims’ families, the officials who run the prison can testify if the person qualify.
This will settle the whole problem.
Someone is profiting otherwise they would have fixed these problems a long time ago
