Great video! This clearly explained this feature that I only vaguely knew existed. Looking forward to using this soon in a play-by-play and color commentator scenario!
Great. Ideo, very helpful, I have the Rcp2 being delivered today, and I was wondering about how this works, I walk away from this video confident I am a pro at this feature now.. thank you.. you got my sub
So if I am not with the host but essentially want to be the producer from another state, if he puts me in as a back channel thru bluetooth phone call or computer stream, every time he'd turn the back channel on so I can talk to him and give guidance during the episode it would turn on his mic for the recording?
first of all thanks you for all your tutorial video about RCP2 they are great and helpful for me as a beginner!! I want to ask a silly question in order to understand 100%...I am the operator of the RCP2 and I have two person podcast in the same room( I am not involved in the podcast only operate ) if I want to speak to the host the he is in channel one I must have a headphone with mic in order to speak him and I have to put my headphone for example in channel 4 in order to speak to him ?
My only issue with the RCP2 is Monitoring. I have both headphones and speakers (Studio Monitors) plugged in the rear of the RCP2. I want to do a Discord/Zoom Call with using the SM7B as input and output I'd like to use my speakers. Well it all works but I hear feedback (myself talking). Is there any way to disable the monitoring feedback without disabling the Speakers?
Hi, my mixer is in a control room, and the host is at a desk in a seperate room. The control room person has a mic input into #4 to talk to host. OBS is monitoring USB1 with Mix-Minus mic4. How can the control room person interrupt the host, while they're talking, without their mic, #1, going dead on the main mix? Host is using an earpiece plugged into Headphone jack #4. Thanks!
I don't understand what USB1 means for this set up/function.... As you has shown, I don't have to care about that because it's automatically off. Anyways, this function doesn't work for, I don't know what is wrong, the fader's meters seem not to work, they turn off instead... Any ideas?
Do we need to have a mic output on a slider? Coming from the GoXLR and we just set it and forget it, and we had the ability to use the cough button for muting. Can we do the same with the Rodecaster?

I don’t believe the technique to creating a back channel by selecting listen and mute simultaneously works anymore.
