Just finished the first section of this book. WOW! What an eye opener. Francis Chan's writing is amazing and while reading I feel like I am actually having a conversation. It's a hard book to put down. This book is an answer to my prayers about answering Gods call for me. Sites of scripture are spot on and I am glad to be reading it with my bible study group. Thank you Francis!

I love what Harrington and Putman say from Matthew 4:19 that Jesus defined a disciple, "Come, follow me and I will make you fishers of men." A disciple is called by Jesus - "Come" To be changed by Jesus - "I will make you" To be on the mission of Jesus - "Fishers of men"
Carla Houze grace isnt the empowerment that God give us too live and extraordinary life, grace is the unmerited favor that God the Father gives us through his Son JesusChrist.
