This was such a moody and satisfying video to watch. The print is gorgeous. Then as the music develops, it feels like watching a monk tending to a zen garden that stares back at you.
THE Perfection !!! Bravo !!!!
Your blocks are so beautiful. I hope to develop my skills. You give hope to a newbie newbie.
the combination of precision, consistency and creativity is mind-blowing. all of your work arrests me! thank you for sharing the process
So beautiful!
I love the music selection. It always feels like a near religious experience.
Does anybody recognize the music? Name of the musician? Please.
@@alexispedraza5621 it's in the video description - Patchouli Blue by Bohren & der Club of Gore
Very Twin Peaks-y, in my opinion.
Love it aswell.
So damn good... Design, process, music! Feeling like I'm kinda coated with a warm cozy darkness after watching this. Thank you so much for making this!
Amazed to have the print now and watch the video again ;-) Thank you Emils !!! The natural paper is special too. Great work !

Beautifully done! The shadow effect is stunning!
Spectacular work, as usual! Love your process videos so much.
Printing is very clean and this feature is very important in the artistic printing process.
I really like your work and I hope you upload more videos.
Greetings from Mexico.
My hands cramp from watching this but beautiful work!
Your work is exquisite, Emils.
Lovely work. Thanks for sharing.
Your work is to perfection. As I love fairytale Linocut print & wood blocking....their is so much to say for the expression & feelings only for this art you performed that I WATCHED TODAY. It has taken me years to allow myself to express myself in this manor and now I again am back to cut & print on a smaller scale.
Between your fantastic choice in music as your hands danced around the board like a well rehearsed choreographer. I am so glad and proud I came to your fantastic well choreographed play. I am looking forward to the delight of more.......kisskiss
Thank you for kind words.

Okay, HTF did you lay out that "aquatint like" layer on that second plate? I have to know.
Amazing!! What do you use to make the blades sharper? :)
th-cam.com/video/IJeGgH_YUPU/w-d-xo.html check out this video at 3:41 it shows Emile using a whetstone.
Bro
Totally in love but I cried that it was a reduction print.
Desc says it was carved and printed from two bocks so be at ease.
Please tell me your material and tools
Whats name ur using board
what press is that? and the measurments?:)
press is made Czech Republic , etching press www.jina.cz/, the press size is 80cm x 150cm.
too much talent and patience...i hate you.
Lmao you have to be a real hater to dislike this video
I'm voting no. A graphic black and white linocut is weakened by complicating it with the split fountain gradation. Also, I prefer more artistry and less commercialism.
Beautiful! I love the limited use of the gradient; it really pulls the whole thing together and gives some depth.
