Tip 1: Get a game plan
    a) Before 4-5 weeks before tests, figure out the syllabus/study design, and make a list of all the topics and things you need to learn.
    - This is when you can get to start making your notes etc
    b) Get practice questions for this test (past papers, regular questions in the textbook)
Tip 2: Start studying earlier - Just gives more relaxation
Tip 3: Spend the most time on the application. Get as many questions completed as possible.
Tip 4: Put all your notes in one notebook. (easy to find, etc)
Tip 5: Use your class time as the best as you can. (homework, revision on past paper, confirming confusion with friends and teachers.

If you didn't do particularly well in year 11 do you think it's possible to come back from it in year 12?

Definitely. You just might have to put in a little more work.
