    • @CameronDurham
      @CameronDurham 9 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      SecretSmileyFace Actually, I disagree with you big time on that. Firstly, we don't kill each other for food. And even when other animals kill because of territory, we do that, too. Sometimes it's when someone breaks into our home. And sometimes it's simply for land (which doesn't happen so much anymore). But we are also a society that works together. In order to function we need laws such as don't kill each other. Other species don't have the cognitive power or any sort of reason to make laws like that.

    The truth is: everything is natural. Everything in the universe is a consequence of the laws of nature, and therefore natural. We are not, nor will we ever be, separate from nature. What we do is just another, arguably more complex expression of the fundamental constants of the universe.

I think it's the lactic acid that cause the pain. It's been about 3 years since i last studied biology though so it may be wrong.

    • @jordanl2317
      @jordanl2317 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Scotville units (spice) are such a drag to determine though... Basically, you get the juice, dissolve it in sugar solution, mix it with alcohol, and keep repeating until you taste no more spice.

    • @antonydandrea
      @antonydandrea 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Saelaniify Sweetness is a taste. 1 gram of Sugar can be really sweet for one person and not for another. Why would they not say 3.5 times more sugar if that is what they meant?

    • @astronaut3696
      @astronaut3696 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Antony D'Andrea by sweet they might mean this for example:
      there is 30 grams of sugar in a poptart (idk the real one)
      the pop tart evolved edition contains 60 grams, therefore double the sweet

Humans are larger for the same reason except its not really artificial pressure like it was for our food. we mated with people who had traits we liked and other traits helped us survive. If we had left the plats alone they would of evolved differently.

It renders their argument moot and their definition of chemical useless in one sentence.

    0:51 Stating that 'in a lot of cases, yes [, man-made chemicals are worse]' is weird..
    In what cases would it be worse? Like, is 'synthesized' vitamine C different in any way than the vitamine C in nature?
    Or like 'sucrose is worse than sugar'? Because in the latter, you're not comparing the same thing.
    Hell, by going from the latter, I could state that synthesized chemicals by humans are infinitely better than the ones found in nature. Simply because humans keep humans in mind and nature just doesn't give a f*ck :-P
    It is especially weird to state this making the video the way you did, so I might just not understand what you're trying to say here. So, I would love to hear in which cases synthesized chemicals are worse than natural chemicals
