The lighting colours made the steam magical! The blue steam under the bridge was beautiful. You know Simon, I think they saw your decorated G scale train and thought they needed to decorate their train too.
I was very pleased with that "under the bridge" shot. Having worked the Santa Express a week before, (a morning train) I remembered the amount of steam that 'fogged' the bridge due to the cold weather, and thought it would look awesome with the lights and the train emerging. I was not disappointed. Ha! Yes, well the Canadian Pacific was influenced by me too of course 😂 Thanks Terry!
Hi Simon, a fantastic video, it has the mystique of Christmas. Thanks for showing, it was one of the best videos. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family
Beautiful. Typical English winter. That which is not wet is soggy. But the lights! The steam!! Sigh… when (and if) the airlines ever figure out how to run an airline again… but geeeezzz. Not in winter. Nonetheless at some point!!
Thanks. It had actually been pretty dry at that point, but it's rained since. It's enough to drive you to drink.... tea! If you make it over here, I'll try and get you in the cab with me on the West Somerset Railway. That'll be fun.
Cars lit up. Excellent!!!
Ah, now i know why the camera at Crowcombe has not been operative for all this wk. Thank you , video very well done.
That's right, there won't be much to see at Crowcombe for a while.
Thanks very much!

Great job chasing, Very well done on the decorating and the video. Best wishes from Buffalo NY.

All the best.
Cool colors on the smoke at different levels.
Pretty awesome, huh?
Always a great event and nicely captured the spirit of the occasion.
It was the first time I'd seen any train illuminations, so I really enjoyed admiring it.
Thank you!
Very cool. Colors in the smoke are amazing. You even got the “green flash” as we say in San Diego!
Great. Thanks very much!
Merry Christmas. May santa bring you many more BIG STEAM engines.
Haha! I hope so 🤞
Merry Christmas Dewey
