Why Are 2 Elixir Cards so GOOD in Clash Royale?

- 2 elixir cards have always been good in Clash Royale. Look at any moment In the game's history and you see that 2 elixir cards will make up at least 3 to 4 of the top 10 cards in the game. But why exactly is this? In this video, I have explored the impact 2 elixir cards have made on the modern day Clash Royale landscape in order to truly find out why they've been so good throughout the game from day 1 to present day.

We know we live in dark times when log isn't number one spell anymore
truly dark times lol. Evo Zap is way too op and no one is talking about it
@@epsilonclash imo they should've kept zap damage as the same, but change it to 4 bursts (like now).
Instead, what we have is a 2 elixir highly spammable spell that deals almost the same damage as poison and has increased aoe and has 3 bursts that each stun as much as regular zap.
Balanced, nerf miner

Just wait we will get evolutions for all cards except the champions, first we get all commons, then rares, then epics and then finally legendaries

You should stop the fading audio, or time it better. It’s pretty awkward just hearing you fade out really fast while transitioning

@@Mands1989that’s not even good would genuinely be the worst evo.. most of the time people only play on one bridge and every once a blue moon will send a separate attack. i would argue it would be a 3 maybe 2 cycle since it’s such low elixir it’s easy to cycle and would maybe stop enemies and push them back farther or deploy multiple logs at once. or tick damage bc log does have spikes on it.
After so many years,zap returned his number 1 spot as a most used card in the game, truly dramatic

@@username-lj6tl oh god I can just imagine it. It'd be a log that can go from one end of the arena to the other, dealing the damage of a fireball and moving troops like a damn tornado.
Basically the flexibility that 1 Elixir cards have but also having some power that allows them to work well on their own as opposed to being forced to be paired with other cards.

Evo log would increase in damage with each target it hits, like if you send a log through a giant into archers the archers would now die

one thing to note is that you should only taper off the audio at the end of clips, because currently it just cuts you off mid sentence

To be honest, Zap was almost dead before evolution and it was one of my favorite card back in 2016/17 so I'm happy that it got an evolution but sadly, I don't have it.
I think that even without the evo, it is still a playable card if u have it as a 2nd spell in ur deck, can come in handy against swarm decks and can be a game changer when it comes to re-targeting

Little tip when editing your videos i guess. Let you finish your own sentance, you always start fading the screen out when you are still talking, muffeling the current sentance you are still even in, to then instantly start talking again usually not even a second later. Try to get some delay in between that happening.

Nice vid, your voice does kinda keep trailing off with every transition so the editing feels a little choppy and your voice sounds a little rushed at times but otherwise I like your content
if i may offer two constructive criticisms to your amazing video, you should cut your shots a little later, it sounds like you're cutting yourself off. also, sometimes you replace the subtitles with an image describing what ur talking about, but often you're saying another more complex thing on top of it, so it would contribute to more accessibility if they were going when you're doing more than describing the image on screen.

Not just 2 elixir. All cards of 3 elixir and less are arguably the best cards, and lets not start on the little prince and evolutions.

You are highly mistaken if you actually think bats are a high skill card. There's literally no negative trade possible with them. They have very high dps, almost no troop hits them because they are air and they act as inferno tank because there's 5 of them.
I meant in comparison to minions yes they are a very high skill card. Minions are better in every way, but they are one elixir extra. Sorry if there was confusion

They aren't too high skill, but they can be really good at times
Bats can be countered entirely by the duchess, fire spirit or electro spirit

I’m sorry but EVO firecracker is the most used card in the game.. I play against it over 60 percent of the time and I just faced it 7 outta my last 8 games. To talk about anything other than that, log, skeletons, spirits, and buildings is to completely ignore every single balance issue in the game. Spam the bridge, defend with any building, log, spirit, firecracker. That’s all you fucking see today.
You made a mistake at 1:39 those percentages add up to 110, you accidently put 63% for log instead of 53% because of that im gonna have to leave a dislike
Nope lol not a mistake. Just because two different cards don’t have usage rates that add up to 100 doesn’t mean it’s not possible. The reason this occurs is because a deck has 8 cards. Think abt it. It’s possible for both log and zap to have 100% usage rate, which implies both are in 100% of decks. Therefore this percentage can go up to 100%.
(I really just had to justify the dislike 😭😭)
