  • *This is the FIRST and ONLY time we share this framework publicly.*
After watching this recording, you will walk away with our exact proven process for...
    • Publishing short-form “outlines as content.”
    • Expanding proven short-form content into long-form content.
    • And resurfacing your best content over and over again (allowing you to schedule months worth of content in advance, and build your audience on autopilot).
If you are looking to start (or accelerate) your online writing journey in 2023, this is exactly what you need to achieve your goal.

Insane value. Listened to this first while driving in the car. Rewatched it two times since here on YT.
    Key takeaways:
    1. The Lean Writing Method focuses on starting small, gathering data, and expanding on ideas that resonate with people.
    2. The goal is to have enough ideas to write about and to double down on the content pieces that are highest performing.
    3. There are many different topics that can be written about, and there is a systematic framework for taking a topic and generating ideas

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:00 *🚀 The Lean Writing Method: Removing friction from idea generation, publishing, validation, and content expansion.*
    - Lean writing focuses on starting small, gathering data, and expanding on resonating ideas.
    - The method prevents wasting time on long-form content that might not resonate with the audience.
01:22 *📝 Generating Topics: Encouraging active participation to generate diverse writing topics.*
    - Active participation helps in brainstorming a long list of diverse topics.
    - Examples include self-confidence, persuasion, nature, email marketing, etc.
03:28 *💡 Idea Generation: Various approaches to generating ideas for any niche or topic.*
    - Tips, skills, tools, traits, steps, goals, books, habits, stories, quotes, secrets, insights, etc., can inspire content ideas.
    - These approaches are universal and apply to all niches, breaking the belief that topics are entirely unique to each niche.
07:25 *🔍 Narrowing Ideas: Reining in the abundance of ideas generated through a systematic approach.*
    - Using a variety of frameworks to generate ideas can lead to an overwhelming number of topics.
    - The two-year test helps in narrowing down ideas by reflecting on personal experiences and unique circumstances.
09:13 *📆 The Two-Year Test: Reflecting on personal experiences and unique circumstances from the past two years to generate writing topics.*
    - The test helps in realizing one's unique experiences and expertise.
    - It breaks the belief that everything worth writing has already been said, emphasizing the value of personal experiences.
13:02 *📝 Reflecting on 2022: Brainstorming topics based on lessons learned, questions asked, purchases made, habits formed, etc., in the past year.*
    - Reflecting on the past year can generate a plethora of topics for the year ahead.
    - Sharing personal reflections can resonate with others who may be in similar circumstances or seeking similar insights.
19:39 *📝 Publishing Outlines: Testing ideas without writing lengthy content by publishing outlines.*
    - Outlines as content list the main points of an idea without elaborating in full detail.
    - This method allows for testing ideas quickly and efficiently, saving time on writing extensive content upfront.
21:59 *📝 Lean writing involves creating lists of ideas quickly and then expanding on them based on audience feedback.*
    - Lean writing is about making lists of ideas quickly.
    - Everything in writing is a list, from books to articles to Twitter threads.
    - By quickly putting out lists and getting feedback, you can expand on the ideas that resonate with your audience.
25:23 *🚀 Expand on your initial lists to create various pieces of content, such as Twitter threads, LinkedIn posts, articles, or even ebooks.*
    - The initial list is the outline for different types of content.
    - Expanding on the list allows you to create different forms of content.
    - Use the list as the outline for longer pieces like ebooks or articles.
29:03 *🧠 Three easy ways to expand any section of your content: give tips, point out mistakes, provide examples.*
    - Tips, mistakes, and examples are key to expanding content sections.
    - These elements can be used to expand any section of content.
    - They help provide depth and engagement in your writing.
43:27 *🔁 Work in reverse by turning parts of your expanded content into standalone pieces, linking back to the original longer content.*
    - Turn parts of your expanded content into standalone pieces.
    - This allows you to resurface your best content.
    - It reduces your workload by leveraging existing content.
    46:32 *📝 Writing Approach Overview*
    - Importance of publishing to validate ideas.
    - Contrast with spending too much time on a single blog post without feedback.
47:18 *🔄 Paradigm Shift in Writing*
    - Unlearning traditional writing methods for the digital age.
    - Addressing audience questions on templates, openers, formatting, and system.
    48:11 *🚶 Implementation Support*
    - Invitation to join the Ship 30 for 30 cohort for accountability and guidance.
    - Recap and encouragement to start writing using the shared information and tools.
    49:23 *🌐 Universal Writing Strategies*
    - Assurance that the writing strategies are applicable across allniches.
    - Emphasis on the effectiveness of the shared approaches regardless of niche or language.
    50:16 *📝 Idea Generation Process*
    - Utilizing various frameworks and resources for generating ideas.
    - Importance of reflecting on past experiences for content inspiration.
    50:46 *📝 Lean Writing Process*
    - Publishing outlines as content to kickstart writing.
    - Expanding outlines with tips, mistakes, examples, and stories for each point.

Hey guys, absolutely great video - thanks. Thinking about joining Ship 30 for 30.
Just a quick question: when you just start out - and you do have no online audience whatsoever - how can you get feedback on your tweets and posts when no one comments on them? I tweeted a handful of post and got maybe 5 view on average - no comments, just one like from an account that is probably a bot.
So how am I supposed to test my content if there is so little interaction?
Do I need to write more diverse content and see what sticks - and check, after a month or so, where I want to double down (the throwing-spaghetti-on-the-wall-approach)?
Do I need to ask my friends for engagement to "incentivise" the algo?
