Fantastic! This is gold!. I have SO MUCH to write about and have a huge list of topics and titles that I routinely get overwhelmed by which one to choose. This will help me organize those topics. I enjoy reading and writing all 4 paths, but probably tend to prefer reading actionable and writing all four. I don’t know which I’d choose to write if I had to pick one. I’ll have to start paying attention to where my writing goes most often. And I love the idea of picking ONE approach. I’ve noticed this disorganization when writers don’t do this. And wow! The idea generator is soooo good! I saw that interview and was taking notes on using that matrix and I love how you’ve implemented it. Thank you!

Thanks! I’m working on finding new angles and a direction for my content (it’s too scattered) and I think having a clear framework and testing many approaches will really help.

Thank you so much. So valuable.
Writing about concrete stuff you have experience and skill at... That's specifically what you teach and hence the value you realy have to give.
So make sense to write about the value you give, so you can actually give it.

At the 4As and proven approach I am lost. Cause that’s when the topic structure has to change to fit the frameworks not like the other where you can just plug it in

"coming up with ideas is not the age old.. you sit in your room.. you stare out the window.. you put on a chapeau.. you light a cigarette.. you got a candle burning in the background.. you're waiting for inspiration to strike"

In regards to the curation of content and credibility, sharing the opinions and thoughts of the authorities in your space, or even just others who are on or below your "level" brings your audience deeper into your process and likely fosters a stronger relationship, in addition to helping them through their struggle to achieve their hyper-specific goal

Would you recommend just doing a Twitter thread a week for somebody starting with nothing instead of starting a substack?

Roger Ebert has been dead since 2013. Not a HUGE deal, but it does ding your credibility. In the credibility section.
