Dude, I just came across your channel, and it's like watching a fusion of Bill Burr and Just Trust Ash react to my favorite anime! You've earned a new subscriber!
Hey Nick and others, wanted to explain some of the poetry and symbolish with the end of this arc. This is essentially the end of Act 2. Both Naruto and Sasuke have actually accomplished their 'real goals'. Naruto wanted to become Hokage because he believed it would get the village to love and respect him. With the end of this arc, the village now loves him. There's no real reason for him to become the Hokage now. And Sasuke was determined to kill Itachi and restore the Uchiha only for him to learn the real truth and now being consumed with anger. Naruto gained love from the village that always despised him and Sasuke has now gained hate and wants to destroy the village that he feels cost him his brother's humanity and soul. Its perfect. The next arc is basically the epilogue to Act 2 and Prelude to the Final Act. It brings certain things to a close whilst at the same time setting up a whole load of new things to now come going forward. Enjoy.

Man, I just wish Naruto & Hinata had a little moment after the arc. It would’ve been a perfect time for more development. After they both faced Pain, together, how could they go back to essentially avoiding one another? D:
cause Kishimoto litterally didn't plan them together :') almost until the very end we could only see his and Sakura's relationship hints. He really sucks at romance
@@diana_mei I knowwww D: even just a hug, maybe Naruto noticing her, being relieved she’s okay and then a brief embrace before resuming the celebration with everyone else. D: oh well.
Nah Even after everything, Naruto was not ready for that. He barely knew what was love for his friends/"precious people" as he knew it. And not even hours prior, he got to knew love from his real parent. And let's be honest, Hinata expected a 100% chance of death, she was ready to die for him, so it was more about declaring her love for him before dying. That's why it was "selfish". And even after surviving, you think Hinata would hound Naruto about it? When there's so much shit to deal with? You know, like their damn village being in ruins at the moment, and then Naruto going to a different time zone to intercept the Raikage. . . Then again, it was then that Sakura made her pro-gamer move that didn't work because our boy, even as messed up as he is, had already received an honest declaration of love to compare with Sakura's. At the end of the day it's a shonen battle manga/anime, one can only be grateful for the little specks of romance in them.
Even though I've watched this arc several times, every time it's an adventure again, a rollercoaster of emotions. Thank you for sharing your journey with all of us.
Before people try to glaze say the tagashi(the editor of Naruto) carried he didn't. He left during the Sasuke vs itachi fight which was during the early beginning of the pain arc.
Watching Naruto being thrown in the air by the villagers was so heartwarming and felt so right. It felt like a long, hard fought journey where the hero finally got what he deserved
i watched Naruto as a young young teen so i definately missed a ton of stuff and i dont usually cry, but that sentence at 17:27 broke me to pieces once you love someone for the 1st time, you understand the weight of those words. and i dont even like Sakumo, but fuck man when i heard him say that my heart sank and the tears started flowing on their own this show is a masterpiece, second only to One Piece
Glad you are enjoying this show as much as I have!! My friends and I have watched a number of anime and we each picked one for ourselves that was "our" anime. Naruto was mine, seen every single episode and movie! Looking forward to seeing more of your reactions, sooo much is going to happen so wrap that headband even tighter!!
when nagato finally remembered the name of the hero in the book😭.. he knew of the name naruto even before the show's naruto was born, that's why he felt like the kid in front of him was the incarnation and embodiment of that book's hero😭
that line from kakashis father "i can finally see your mother" always brings out tears. I have seen this anime from people reacting to so many times and these episodes still hit so hard for me.
For those who don't know @NicholasLightTV: Naruto Shippuden was originally supposed to end here and come back with a time skip so that the author (Masashi Kishimoto) had time to think about what's next. But because of the success of Naruto he was forced to continue and change its plan. If I remember well, the same happened in the great war arc with the final villain, who was not supposed to be.
Agreed. This is the only time where I found revival of all dead characters acceptable. It was the best way to conclude the arc and added to the emotional depth of it. It was truly earned.
9:40 lil detail I like is him asking naruto how he can say that he will never change? I feel like it comes from a place of self-awareness nagato knows what he's become and has some awareness of it, after being reminded of his past, he knows he's changed too much, which I think adds an extra layer of sadness. I didn't notice this until this watch tbh.
Naruto will be a fool for the rest of his life, just like he said at the end of the first season. Realistically, there is never a guarantee of eternal peace, war never stops, but people need faith and inspiration to live, and even if Naruto dies, the millions of descendants of ninjas and those who think like him will continue the peace, a cycle that might as well be called eternal peace. That's what I like about this anime, it always gives hope.
In Ebisu's case he acknowledged Naruto since Naruto OG, when he was teaching him how to walk on water, prior to Jiraiya's appearance 👍, he was thinking about how Naruto was a figure to Konohamaru and was a better teacher than him or something like that
Iruka sensei was so pround and was a beautiful scene showing of how much he truly loves Naruto. Of course I balled when i saw him cried of happiness for Naruto.

No mater how many times i watch this ark im still crying
I honestly couldn’t ask for a better birthday gift thank u nick
Every time I rewatch Pain arc. I realize how amazing it was
Kakashi is in my top 3 characters for many reasons, so maaan... Him having that conversation with his dad while in limbo. THEN immediately returning to life just to almost instantly back Naruto up makes me tear up. Man is one of the series goats ❤️
Naruto will always be a very special anime and will be close to our hearts.
The legend says that if Eren had seen the scene of Naruto and the swing, 80% of humanity would have been saved lol
Enjoy.
the most emotional moment in all of fiction for me
hey nick idk if youu'll see this but i just wanted to say thank you so much for being so entertaining to watch. i kind of stopped watching you aafter i got busy in life but your video just popped on my feed and i remembered those fun good times of you reacting to aot. i just got so nostalgic and emotional and i just wanted to thank you for making me so happy for that part of my life. i just got back and checked out your channel and became so happy that you're doing well, your channel is doing well and ALSO .....you are MARRIED! congratulations nick! so happy for you guys. i'm just grateful and so happy that i used to be so happy looking at your reactions. it felt like somebody else can relate to the excitement i got while watching these shows. keep doing your stuff cuz' you do make a lot of people's fun and interesting. it's a huge thing to make people happy and you do a great job at that!
I don't dislike the end of the series, but THIS was the climax of the series.
@@diana_mei Yeah Oda sucks at romance as well but besides that they are cooking
@@diana_mei I knowwww D: even just a hug, maybe Naruto noticing her, being relieved she’s okay and then a brief embrace before resuming the celebration with everyone else. D: oh well.
Nah
Even after everything, Naruto was not ready for that.
This subathon made me love this arc even more
15:10 "Arigato" Gets me every mf time
Even though I've watched this arc several times, every time it's an adventure again, a rollercoaster of emotions. Thank you for sharing your journey with all of us.
Didn't think nick would react to something older and longer like Naruto. Beyond happy he has and actually loves it.
every single person i watch react to pain arc says the same. This is the perfect ending for the show.
Not gonna lie but Ten Ten got more screen time here than in anime😂😂
24:58 and this great Nicholas sound
Arigato kishimoto Sensei for give
us best arc in anime
Before people try to glaze say the tagashi(the editor of Naruto) carried he didn't. He left during the Sasuke vs itachi fight which was during the early beginning of the pain arc.
@@Swagjutsusolosfiction yep 👍 good details
Me: "Bro we about to take Chinese classes this about to be easy!"
Bro on his first day: 4:34
Watching Naruto being thrown in the air by the villagers was so heartwarming and felt so right. It felt like a long, hard fought journey where the hero finally got what he deserved
you know what? my mind can't keep the mindblown in this arc, the butterfly effect, the fight, the sadness, everything is just so peak.
i watched Naruto as a young young teen so i definately missed a ton of stuff and i dont usually cry, but that sentence at 17:27 broke me to pieces
once you love someone for the 1st time, you understand the weight of those words. and i dont even like Sakumo, but fuck man when i heard him say that my heart sank and the tears started flowing on their own
this show is a masterpiece, second only to One Piece
for me the scene where naruto returns to the village and is recognized as a hero should've been the ending,it was the perfect set-up.
"WHEN DID YOU FORSAKE YOURSELVES?!" 🥶❄️🥵🔥
In all honesty, this episode is technically where Naruto accomplished his dream of being recognized by everyone in the village.
that line from kakashis father "i can finally see your mother" always brings out tears. I have seen this anime from people reacting to so many times and these episodes still hit so hard for me.
Just wanted to let ya know, you quickly became one of my fave streamers/youtubers. I can tell you're a real one! Keep up the great work.
16:37 that smile was exactly how we felt watching it the first time
For those who don't know @NicholasLightTV: Naruto Shippuden was originally supposed to end here and come back with a time skip so that the author (Masashi Kishimoto) had time to think about what's next. But because of the success of Naruto he was forced to continue and change its plan. If I remember well, the same happened in the great war arc with the final villain, who was not supposed to be.
the ONLY case where i think "revival of everyone who died" was not only warranted, but actually earned and didn't feel like forced status quo.
Naruto tells the villain that he experienced pain too
The swing: "Ah sh*t here we go again"
The best ARC in the history of Anime
I always cry watching this episode :') the best arc ever!
The greatest arc in anime history.
17:25 This is so perfect man. that music, that line, so much emotion.
Kakashi doesn't care he's dead or alive, he just proud of Naruto. That what means a true sensei!
Loved rewatching this through you all the emotions of hype and reflection were great and I can't wait for more of your reactions 👌🏽
it really is peak animation right there crying even after watching it 100 times
Naruto will be a fool for the rest of his life, just like he said at the end of the first season. Realistically, there is never a guarantee of eternal peace, war never stops, but people need faith and inspiration to live, and even if Naruto dies, the millions of descendants of ninjas and those who think like him will continue the peace, a cycle that might as well be called eternal peace. That's what I like about this anime, it always gives hope.
Kishimoto played with us with Kakashi's death, dang it
In Ebisu's case he acknowledged Naruto since Naruto OG, when he was teaching him how to walk on water, prior to Jiraiya's appearance 👍, he was thinking about how Naruto was a figure to Konohamaru and was a better teacher than him or something like that
For sure Nick, The Pain Arc is a masterpiece. Such an Epic story telling. By Far the Best story in the Whole Naruto franchise.
Iruka sensei was so pround and was a beautiful scene showing of how much he truly loves Naruto. Of course I balled when i saw him cried of happiness for Naruto.
remember Nick, this anime is about Naruto and Sasuke, not Madara, until the end Naruto is still one of the best anime
Now that is Naruto's peak as an mc🔥
Naruto is good but luffy is better.
@@fezzshaikh1071 yeah but goku solos
When naruto finally got acknowledged by the whole village, one of my favorite moments in all of naruto
