Ben Nevis is the UK's highest mountain at 1,345 metres and the north face of the mountain is the most challenging route to take to the summit. The north face is popular for experienced climbers as many of the routes often hold snow until late April. The CIC Hut (Charles Inglis Clark) was built in 1929.
