I have a couple of ArmsCor/Rock Island armory pistols and shotguns. As a man living in the Gunshine State (Florida) Rock Island is always praised for its cheap prices and high quality, and its become a legend here. Everyone who owns a gun here always recommend rock Island as a Great buy.
Great video. When my boys graduated from military boot camp here in US, I got them each a Rock Island Rock 1911, and they (and myself) have been 100 pct impressed with the fit / feel / finish. By the way, their Mother is also from Philippines 👍👍👍

Government should work with this type of local industry .. help them improve their products. We may not need to import or beg from other countries if we help or local makers not just firearms but also boats , aircrafts and other industries that can help our arm forces.

45 is stopping power. 9mm is penetration. Biggest advantage I see is that the 9mm has double the capacity of a 45 caliber. If you are a newbie, use a 9mm first. Then graduate to a 45 caliber when you get to be an apprentice marksman. It becomes interesting when you use complicated rounds like hollow points. Can I apply as a quality inspector of final product? No salary and Unlimited overtime with statistical analysis for free. Heheheh.
Love the loud bang of Armscor 1911 with 22TCM ammo. That's what I always rent when I go to their firing range. By the way, is Metro Arms still alive? I got my MAC 1911 Commando back in 2011 and is still flawless to this day. They are also making some great 1911s

Honestly madaming cnc programer na pinoy at welder manga skilled worker kaso sa ibang bansa nila nae aapply. At isa nadin ako dun.. 8 years cnc operator ako dto japan.. mostly automotive parts ang ginagawa namn. Mitsubishi,toyota,jeep,ford,komatsu,honda piston ang ginagawa namen.
Sadly, the Philippines has no homegrown heavy industry to utilise the skills of Filipinos. The industrialization goal was dropped by government of edsa1.
Way back 2008 i own a 1911 .45 acp high capacity 14 rounds armscor pistol nice reliable but the only drawback is prone to rusting it is easy to rust when you daily carry especially tacking in the waist.
Most of my firearms are from Armscor. My favorite is the 22TCM. How I wish armscor could somehow reduce the cost for the ammo. It is very expensive to shoot. Not as expensive as the FN 5.7 but still way more expensive to burn than the 9mm.
if im not mistaken those measurements checking machines were same kind if not identical to the ones used by Lockheed Martin in production of jet engines for fighter planes
