*dramatic sigh* it's true, they were the trade for such a wonderful relationship. I regret nothing!
“-if I’m sans coat.. sauns? Is it sans or sauns?” He asked, unsure. “In my experience it depends who’s saying it.” She replied with a small chuckle. She vaguely wondered how long it would take him to figure out where his clothes went.~
Once he was there, in the door and hugging her, she couldn’t help her giggle at his noise of ‘ooh im finally _WARM-‘_ it was cold outside dadgummit!
Oop- the jig might be up- and no, it’s not the same if it wasn’t his hoodie… at least he didn’t know about the stash yet- “is there an extra blanket I can use?-“ _’OH BOY-‘_ she thought, going full tilt to reach the closet before him. She wasn’t _entirely_ sure how he’d react to just how much of his clothing she’d -stolen- _borrowed-_
Later when she felt the coast was clear, she moved too late when she heard him “Hey honey I was lookin for your popcorn b- heey-“ “-Honey!?” she yelped, her surprise turning sheepish. “I don’t even have words-“ “It’s Not What It Looks Like!!” She blurted, blushing in embarrassment.
“That’s at least ten of my hoodies…” he said, and she glanced away. “That’s why you didn’t want me in the closet isn’t it?” He asked and she nodded, shrinking in on herself slightly.
“Yea, you’re entitled, as girlfriend, my favorite shirt and one of my hoodies- you can’t have ALL of them-“ he said, sounding incredulous “But they smell like you… and it’s really comforting…” she said quietly, looking back at him now. She had to admit after her explanation that he had a point- but she couldn’t help being stubborn for a little while longer.
Snickering slightly she protested, “You’re being dramatic, your lips were blue because of the slushy!!” Still looking slightly sheepish.
“Yeah yeah, your lips were turning blue from the cold okkkk… do you forgive me.?” She asked shyly, ever so slightly uncertain. He smiled “Well of course I forgive you, but could I have one of them back now please?” He asked and she automatically went “nooooooooo-“ to which he sighed, sounding like he was trying not to chuckle. She smiled slightly “Yeaah I’ll get the blanket hun.” She said, her smile turning to a slight smirk as she added “I’ll come hold you while you make stuff too.~” with a slight giggle.
“I’m glad we could come to an understanding too sweetie,” she said, responding to his ‘I love you’ by holding up her hand, palm facing him, pointer, pinky and thumb extended, middle and ring fingers folded, while mouthing those three beautiful words right back at him.
MMy TH-cam feed was kind to me this day. I was listening to music and drawing, and when scrolling to find the next song and saw this and went *_”YES.”_*
The noise of “finally warmthhhh” when finally out of the cold was *_accurate-_* 🤣🤣😂.
