Waking to find her husband was not in bed with her, she groggily sat up, stretching a bit and rubbing her eyes before spotting the letter on her pillow. Reading it and smiling at its contents, she carefully selected her most comfy (and her favorite) robe from the closet before heading down to the kitchen. She smiled lazily at his good morning, responding with a hum, and nodding at his asking if she found the note.
His ‘duh~’ after explaining his choice for a full spread over breakfast in bed drawing a laugh from her before he went on to reveal the bouquet. It was beautiful, the colors meshed well, and the meanings of the flowers themselves were far from lost on her as she admired the blooms. “You like it?” He asked which was met with an immediate “of COURSE.” The fact his favorite flower was the same as his moms she always found so endearing…
And then came the spread. Waffles- pancakes- French toast- bacon- eggs- milk- OJ- my favorite fruit preserves- goodness- it was all sheer, absolute GOODNESS.
Than the traditional presents..? Gosh… he was so sweet and somehow kept surprising her with his caring and loving ways. The bouquet… the painting… it was all so romantic!! Some might call it cheesy but… well I’m one who tends to LOVE cheese.~
“No WAY?!” I said, excited disbelief bursting in my chest when he revealed he’d bought tickets to that ballet I’d been vying to see!- the unfollowing me from their page was sneaky- but ok- the surprise I thought, was worth the sneakery.
“Happy anniversary my love.. I can’t wait to do this for… years and years and years to come…” “Neither can I my teddy bear..” I replied, reaching up and kissing his nose, excited for the day, and what this next new year together would bring.
“Happy anniversary.”
Ok first off. I looked up the meanings of the flowers in the bouquet *_(I had to, I love that sort of thing-)_* AND THE BLUE IRISES- calm down Willow- Blue irises mean faith and hope, African daisies mean purity, new beginnings, and express admiration, and of course then the red roses mean passion- so then you can INFER, *that the bouquet is quite actually literally expressing passion, and admiration, as well as faith, **_and hope that this new milestone harks a new beginning for the both of themmmm!!!_* AAAAAAAAAHH I mean I know it’s kinda obvious but the specific meanings of the flowers make it so amazingggg-
The letterrrrrr AAAAAH- And that absolute breakfast *_spread?_* AGH- if only I could be so lucky-
Every. Freaking. ‘Darling.~’ I can’t- I can’t- I’m WEAK-
And again. Your *_LAUGH-_*
I’ve said it many times and I will NOT stop saying it- your. laugh. is. so. PURE.
And the traditional wedding gifts?! I’d never heard of such a thing- but oh my gosh I love it- *cries in ‘this is so beautiful’*
Well- gems are minerals- and gold is a mineral- sooooooo- 🌝

I actually do love Irises for the reason mentioned in the audio, and I knew what the meanings were when I picked the colors so I'm glad you were able to enjoy that little detail! I also did intentionally release this today because of my channel anniversary ;) thanks so much as always Willow your comments always bring a big smile to my face
