@@GenuineGents I can imagine some reasons. I, for example, am only 19, and I love suits, but the need for one right now is not high. It is too expensive to splurge on when my body is still changing. (I do own a suit, but I do not think highly of it since it's a big large :( )

If you want to go black just go full casual with the typical black and white hoodies and sneakers, there’s no place for black suits in classic traditional daywear, it’s for funerals, evening wear or Morning Dress (because it’s the pinnacle of daywear formality).
We love you, Preston. You, Raphael, and Kyle are truly the most sophisticated men left in this barren wasteland of a "fashion scene" that we have today. Every time I get to see you on the channel brings me happiness. Thanks to the Gazette for making the Internet a wonderful place.
As someone who is quite young, your videos have really inspired me to dress up, and become a more masculine, traditional man (especially in the current social context). Thank you so much for your work.
16:55 - I'm loving how much Gentleman's Gazette has evolved since I started watching here. Thank you once again for an insightful video, wishing you well, -Carl

Great video! In light of Preston's use of white pants in outfit eight, have you guys ever thought about making a video on the use of white pants in classic men's wear?
I wear the exact outfit Kyle was wearing, but I actually iron the jean cuffs including measuring them because I want them just right, and it looks dressier
I like this style of video very much. I hope you can do more of this kind of video featuring other wardrobe staples. I liked the look with the pink accessories best. The only look I didn't like was the second one, the "evening out" look. I felt that the red boutonniere was too big and fighting with the pocket square. I think it would have looked better either without the pocket square or with a smaller flower.
Great video. I have one question though: if you only have one suit, how often do you need to have it cleaned? Also, is it better to have it steam cleaned or dry cleaned?
Hi! Could you please make a video in which you present good brands for suits, shoes etc. Best in different price segments. I’m from Germany and I love your videos. However, I don’t know where I can get quality timeless clothes here. In the department stores here I usually don’t find good classic suits and accessories. And on the Internet I don’t know which brands or pages there are. Thank you in advance.
I have a wedding to attend to in June, could i get away with a nice heavy weight hopsack navy suit? The other options is 160s suit which i dont think ill be able to wear outside of formal occasions. The hopsock im referring to is from Spier and Mackay
I'm a gal who loves suits, to wear them is just such a freeing yet put together feeling. Although this is for men and the versions for women are different the advice still felt useful. Thank you!
Hello. I didn’t know Fort Belvedere had an Oscar Wilde carnation, shown at 14:00 in the video. I will be buying one of those, and letting my friends know you carry it. 🙂
In a nutshell, I can tell you why classic suits (and, while the double-breasted is more formal, I include it in that category too) have the best staying power. They DEFY trends!
@@akimbofurry2179 Style-wise, they're ok. What I'm particularly into are the Victorian era frock coats (basically a suit jacket with the skirting down to the knees) that were common gentlemen's styles of the latter 19th and early 20th centuries and the morning suit, which, if I'm not mistaken, became popular in the early 20th century.

Although, the concept for this video is good in theory, there's definitely more that could have been done to show greater versatility. The majority of the looks were very full suit heavy - just swapping out shirts, ties and accessories. Definitely would have been nicer to see a mix of items such as polos, crew neck, v neck and turtleneck sweaters incorporated into the different looks for more variety. Maybe bringing in outerwear could've helped to break up the full suits a bit - maybe a camel polo coat or peacoat.
It's funny, I do not own a suit, for various reasons. Yet I love watching these videos and thinking to myself. 'One day...'

What are the various reasons you mention for not having one?? I'm just curious! 🤙
