Arumba it's not that you shouldn't teach Filthy the shortcuts, but there is always a way to do it manually (e.g. the buttons for map modes, clicking on your country flag in the top left to get to the different menus etc) - he should be able to find the menus in case he forgets a shortcut, as they are visible in the tooltip IF you can find it in the firstplace
English is a small culture group and they're both cathlic nations so the only people that would get over 50 AE would be Irish minors I would wager that mainland Europe countries didn't get more than 10
Paradox recently changed what the AE value presented in the peace screen actually represents. Instead of being like an average (iirc) of the AE that you would incur with all affected nations, the value now shows the highest AE that you would incur, most likely with your primary enemy since that's who you're taking land from. So it would still be advised to hover over the AE tooltip to see if there's actually any other nation that would fall into the range of being able to coalition you.
They changed how the AE shows in 1.19, it's only 65 AE for the nation that got the worst AE (probably England), But yeah that number looks a lot bigger and scarier in this patch.
Okay so, I currently have a Scottish campaign going following yoi guu's to some extent, but I somehow ended under the lordship of france in a PU without any warning or my guy dying
@@Jockee7-7 Using hotkeys is bad for a let's player because then your viewers cannot see what you're doing. If you actually click on things they have a chance of understanding what exactly is happening and how you are achieving what. Sure, experts among the viewers will still know or guess what's happening, but especially beginners trying to get a grip on a game will be totally lost.
I can understand why he uses it, I use them myself (well, a few, not to the level Arumba uses) it really removes a lot of the hassle involved, a lot of clicking - but to a new player, it's madness to try and teach all the shortcuts that exist in this game.
episode #27 and we are at year 1454. If they do a wcc we will enjoy this play through for years to come. Who knows they may in that time frame they will actually hit 60% of the mechanics in the game

Even if it's just on speed one, plz for the love of Paradox.... play the game!! I mean come on, just explain things as they come up. The best way for him to learn and have the info stick, is to PLAY the game. You trying to explain everything right up front is not going to stick in his head. Actually he's already told you that he forgets between sessions to a degree anyway. Also, this does not have to be a perfectly done game, let him make some mistakes. The first game you play is never the one you do the best in.

filthy triggered about concepts that are pretty logical.... should war exhaustion be added into warscore? obviously not cuz then you would have weird numbers that dont truely show how well you are doing, odd thing to be triggered about.
I wouldn't say that Filthy is triggered, he's just kinda confused about it, and because of that he's questioning the reason why it works that way. Btw, it's not that odd, some people question the things they don't understand in order to get an explanation.
Watching just now but hearing someone that clearly doesn't have a clue about the game arguing highly detailed info and data is just hilarious and painful!... Please stop just absorb the info!

its a great series but it reaaally needs either longer episodes, editiing , or less pausing, just my opinion

why does arumba use a keyboard shortcut for doing absolutely everything apart from pausing the game?
pausing the game by keyboard shortcuts ( space by default) doesn't work in Multiplayer.

yeah, i feel like learning the shortcuts is a think that you do on your own, you should set them up yourself, and memorize them
