This is the whole marathon race from the iQFOiL Youth and Junior Games Torbole 2022 from my perspective. I don't expect anyone will watch the whole video but if you do, good on you, I am impressed.
Great racing kid, keep it up. Since i had an RRD Alu foil up to last season im astonished by your upwind speeds. 20-25kts id say. 21s my topspeed!😂 When im at lake garda next summer ill ride next to a few races with my carbon foil, an 85cm board and an 8-9sqm sail🎉
I’d say the wind was perfect. Around 15-20 knots throughout most of the course. The top mark there was hardly any wind so that posed a challenge but other than that I found it great.

Nice ! It is 2023 already but still nice to watch! What was your average speed? What is the over distance covered in such marathon races ? Greets
I think this race was probably around 15 nautical miles or so. Average speed upwind would have been around 18-20 knots and downwind around 24-26 knots
Where do i get one of these foil boards. would be great for the gorge here in Hood River!
You should be able to get them from a local surf shop that stocks iqfoil kit.
Doing the Hench Dons proud as always
Anything for the Hench Dons 💪
How many Kms or nautical miles?
I’m not sure, I didn’t measure the distance. If I had to guess I’d say the course was roughly 3-4 knot the upwind buoy from the start line.
