Ramanujar is known உடையவர் here. Ramanujar attained சன்யாசம் here on the banks of ananthsaras புஷ்கரணி. A small மண்டபம் erected here which faces chakrathalvar sannadhi
More info about Ramanujar. His body was mummified (paadam seiappattu) and kept in Srirangam temple. It is there now for more than 1000 years. One more info his cousin is Embar whose temple is in Madhuramangalam near Sunguvarchathiram.

I liked this video very much. But sad thing is that it will be opened for public only on Ardira Nakshatra that too only for 4 hours. Our Guru Ramanuja Sri vaishnava work almost started from Kanchipuram only. Poor Administrative work by Kanchipuram temple committee or Tamilnadu Muzarai Department by not opening the Ramanuja sannidhi always. Thanks for showing Guru Yamunacharya ( he was the guru of Ramanuja in Srirangam). You told Ariyar story , so Guru Ramanuja went to Srirangam. Another story is also there that Yamunacharya only called Ramanuja to Srirangam to write 3 Bhashyas on Sri Vaishnavism. Thanks for sharing another important video of Sri Vaishnavism philosophy.
