"Sort of broken" there was a stretch of about 8 hours last night where I couldn't load into the game for more than 2 minutes before crashing and losing progress. 3080's are getting 15 fps in combat. Fdev said there would be NO performance difference in odyssey. Its more than a bit broken my friend.
@@firstlast6437 It should be noted that people getting performance that bad are probably running afowl of a performance bug which can be "fixed" by deleting your graphics settings in appdata. I have a perfectly playable experience on a 1080, and that's a 5 year old card! The performance is still ~1/2 of horizons after applying the workaround, but it's not as bad as 3080/15fps. A lot of the framerate problems actually seem to be CPU limitations.
@@firstlast6437 I know, those performance differences are abyssal and bugs are more than present here, still from time to time it's enjoyable. Hope Fdevs will fix all this soon or this game will end more or less like fallout 76
@@101m4n I running it on 3-4 years old PC with I7 and 6gb 1060. Did some alterations in graphic settings to keep it look accetable with enough preserved fps to keep it playable. it's not bad , it can be better, there are differences in performance as Max mentioned but it's not that bad. What's recent problem for me is connection stability, especially when jumping with carrier the game will just come up with connection error, but that's more or less all (maybe I'm not see ewerything because currently hanging in space around CG with my Cutter so i don't know how much are missions on surface playable )
all of those negative thoughts on the internet about ED:O... yet still i see only positive with some technical problems that will be fixed soon. I don't understand the haters, i mean, are they blind? are they braindead? undoubtedly, this dlc is a big success with a few "but".
@@jakol9383 @jako l I not all people, but yamiks and sc "fans" are. and as I said, optimisation will be fixed. I have an rt580 + ryzen 3 3100 and my fps is 40-60 in on foot combat

15 fps max on mid range pcs, that is a hard fix, no people arent stupid.
