CJR 14FT best boat I've ever had coupled up with a 40hp 2 stroke its like a rocket! Super stable at anchor and when fishing. Not too fussed at lack of chop handling as i dont want to be out if its dangerous anyways. They need to bring the CJR'S back!
Trailer boats in UK look much smaller than the ones in the U.S. I think your roads must be much narrower? What's the road legal beam on your boats? Our boats are 2.75 meters wide before they start needing special permits to drive on the roads, so most all trailer boats from 18-28 feet long are this width.
The Evinrude Etec sounds like a tractor next to any 4 stroke with the exception of the early Mariner 4stroke.While were on the subject of 2stroke ,granted ,lighter?yes in a lot of cases..dont agree with quicker off the mark-as if thats a scoring point.Cheaper to run?disagree.More troublesome?quite often.,then theres the 2t oil mixing ratio fun and games..not for me ,thanks.Rattling stinking things that have more against than for.Cheaper?yes,to buy for a reason.Economy outclassed,inferior to 4stroke in too many ways! Buy what you can afford but always alude to a 4stroke for a quieter hassle free life.

gloxxify l australia requires permits from 2.5m wide.
