Everyone talking about Srabani sen and shom. there is no doubt about their singing ability especially Srabani di. but no one talking about the musicians. I am just spellbound to hear their music especially the bassist...JUST AWESOME
Sraboni Sen is undoubtedly the best...I feel in todays time she is he best female Rabindra sangeet singer..but the male singer Shom is no way a match to such a great singer...his voice is so feeble...cant ever hear him properly...

Female voice is tolerable but the male voice is no voice.. it is hissing like movement of snakes... successfully destroyed the spirit and authenticity of Tagore's song.. Hats off.. to them

I understand that every individual may have his or her personal opinions about any art form. I do not have any problem with that. However, in this particular example, I would love to hear more musical comments from you. Are you into music in any form, i.e., vocal, instrumental etc ? I am just curious. sraboni sen shouldn't have sang with shom as he spoils the spirit of the song. he seems to sing the song holding a glass in front of his mouth. madam sen's voice is awesome.
