I concur, the voice was extra choppy and the grammar and spelling errors made it sometimes unintelligible. I enjoyed the story but considered giving up a few times.
No problem with the voice. It’s the text accompanying the narration. The constant changing of the spelling of the character’s names and the substitution of incorrect, but similar sounding words. AI has its place and can be a good time saver, but until speech to text improves, someone still needs to edit the text.
Specifics on what makes it suck turn things like this negative comment into something called "constructive criticism." And less douche-y. People seem to forget that AI readers are still at the beginning of their existence. Of course most of them, and nearly all the free ones, are going to suck to some degree. What if this content creator has a super thick accent that would make it difficult for most English-speaking people to understand them? Or they are for one or another reason, mute? Or cannot speak for more than a minute or two without coughing? Have a debilitating stutter? Not entirely unrelated, but I did lose my voice for over two months at one point, and from time to time, for a few days here and there. The use of AI reader is giving you an option to listen to their content... content that is, may I remind you, completely free to you.
@@cchastant8251ok, first and foremost, please have a human proof read each story and make appropriate corrections to remove repetitiveness and grammar mistakes and mispronouncing words!! Additionally, the captioning doesn't always match the story text and names are consistently read differently over and over!!

The AI voice is just fine. However, the narration needs to be slowed just a tad and edited. There are some grammatical and spelling errors.
I've also noticed in ALL channels like this one, the narrator ALWAYS mispronounces several words. It drives me nuts.
