Yep... Still a fan of Assad's stuff. Love the passion he shows. Love his stuff. It boarders on filthy at points. Stays calm with guys on. Man is just really consistent. You will get at least a win's worth of innings out of him. You will get quality outs from him. I literally cannot think of what more we could ask of him.

Peralta/Milwaukee just unintentionally intentionally walked Morel the whole game. They didn’t give him anything to hit and he took his walks. The one pitch he got to hit he didn’t miss it and scored an extra insurance run.

Always liked what i saw outta assad when he needed to spot start last season, had my fingers crossed hed get a chance to challenge for a spot this season and HAH bingo. Get steele back soon and hopefully he can avoid a sophomore slump lets assume hendricks is done. Add Shota, whos off to a historic start, the good version of taillon and just gotta worry about whos the 5th started. Brown was well really only had 2 bad outings, and they got wesneski i think now in that spot - im digging the results of the starters
This might be sacrilege, but I haven't seen shortstop play like Dansby Swanson is giving us since Ozzie Smith.
man our starting pitchers are so good, 6 innings pitched 0 runs for all 3 starters, and that's without our 2 best pitchers shota and steele.
