@@willywonkawarzone I did it just two days ago. It *does* work, but you have to follow every step just as he outlines here. You CAN NOT just skip steps and go directly to the invader in the church anymore. They fixed that.
Obviously trying to touch Miquella’s F-ING arm; & I forgot-thought “wait wait wait…why is Mohg suddenly whooping me more than Malenia??? He was NOT this big a problem!”

Ironically now the dlc has come out I think you actually do have to do quest to get her to spawn. Ive never had to before but she wouldn't spawn till I did yuras questline

Just confirmed went to the church after only talking to yura the first time in limgrave and then later in the snowfields totally butchered his quest didn't complete it I've already killed him and elenora invaded. In short you don't gotta do his quest for the invasion to occur

Hey dude just completed the game! I’ve actually fought Radagon like 200 times but like I just wasn’t ready to end the game you feel me? For only one playthrough I have in total almost 200 hours of playtime crazy, but like look probably half of it is pvp, I’ve literally completed every single questline, cleared every single catacomb, cave, tunnel etc, and every single boss and mini boss and got all the trophies except the endings I’ve literally completed the whole game so yeah this game has been awesome! On my way for the platinum now!

Hey stupid question, I’ve completed the game up to mog, backtracking to get the purifying tear,
I try to follow this guide but the guy in the beginning by the dragon wasn’t there
There was a katana where he usually is
So I can only assume he is dead.
I progress up the river defeating the invasion but the hunter of bloody fingers isn’t there under the rocks by the jellyfish.
Same with the main academy gate
There’s no invasion sign,
Am I just locked out of the purifying tear?

Hey. Perfect. I was going to suggest the final church. Yeah, sometimes just going there will get you the item that you need. (In some playthroughs. But for certain players it sometimes does not work for some reason). Thank you for watching.
Thanks for the straightforward guide. I did this back when rhe game first came out forgot about it and was helping my brother get the purifying tear. All i remembered was the church so when we rolled up ready to kick ass and take names and the invader didn't show i couldn't for the life of me remember how.

Well I did the quest and everything a long time ago and I didn't have the weapon he drops I went to where he first shows him to start quest and that's where mine was
Heres the fix that worked for me: talk to him at Raya Lucaria until he says “be on your way, perhaps we meet again” or something along the lines of that, hope this helps
There's a message from 2 years ago that says you don't have to do all this.
as of the SotE dlc update, yuras questline is required to be invaded by Eleonora. Sorry 🤷♂️

So I also thought you didn’t have to do all of this cause I have acquired the lord of blood physique without yura being there but I just tried going straight to the church without speaking to yura and nothing so I think you have to progress his quest at least some before being able to acquire LOB physique. I need help I’m fighting blood lord I found this video but I did some of the parts out of order I guess I killed the first invader then I can’t find yuri then I went to academy gate no summon sign there then I went back to where yoy meet him where he gives the sword an I found jelly fish with the item on the floor ima go search the church hopefully it’s there

The first time I played through the game, I got the tear and forgot about it but I didn't do Yuras quest at all. I just got his help with the first invasion. But now the second time playing, I didn't get the tear from the invader. Idk what I did wrong, any ideas?
Are you on new game plus? Do the tears carry over from new game, to new game plus? Maybe you already have the tear in your inventory?

@@Azzavhar on my 1st playthrough i immediately went to the church, the invader didnt appear. Im on my 2nd playthrough and did the same, they didnt appear again. So i went through your instructions and i got the tear. Besides Yura's quest is really short. Like you could do this within 10mins or less

Hey. Some people have reported that if Yura is not there; then try just visiting the church at the end; and sometimes you will get the invasion at the church. It' worth going there to check it out. See if it works for you.

For me he isn’t anywhere. There isn’t an invasion at lucaria he isn’t after the bloody finger he isn’t at the church I can’t find him anywhere and there isn’t a way to get her to spawn

Twice now l've beat the NPC at the 2nd Church of Marika ... No drop at all , no tear or poleblade . l ran the questline you detailed , hoping to respawn the NPC invader . No luck . This is a major glitch in the game with which l am very disappointed since l like to farm Mohg's area , and help co-op there . Without the tear it is really hard . ls there another way to get the purifying tear ?
Hmmm. I'm not too sure. Some people have said they skipped all of the beginning steps and went straight to the church and they got the invasion. Some people said they have to take all the steps then head to the church to get the invasion.
I got both on my first try just today. My arcane is 40 so that helps a whole lot.

Try going to the church where the invasion happens. Wait there for a minute. You might still get the invasion. And then get the crystal.

you don't have to do the quest to get invaded at the church and get the tear, you can just go there
about the summoning sing, it doesn't show up if you already progressed too much in the game, you can check his questline at the elden ring wiki website (Yura quest)
@@FaithLoverworld I have already been there when going through the sacred tear pick ups. I killed anastasia but she didn't drop the tear. I've read comments saying when the dlc dropped they've made it so you have to progress the quest

Yura...?! Well that sucks! I killed Yura so I could get his hat -- he didn't even drop the hat either. In fact, the 1st time I killed him, he would respawn & he'd become hostile if I got too close to him. The Church of Vows stopped that; but, I encountered him a 2nd time (excluding his presence in the fight against Radahn or Radhan or Rahdan or ~in the Battle Festival against Gravity Dude in the Desert...?) & I killed him then too & he did not respawn; still no hat. Instead, I was invaded sometime after by a Samurai fella & he dropped Yura's armor set along with a katana if I recall correctly....
Anyhow..., has anyone tested Yura's hat for its effectiveness in defeating Mohgwyn...? Because I have Yura's hat instead of this crystal tear. Surely the hat is worth more than its aesthetic value alone...(?) Why would From Software allow players to obtain the hat w the highest aesthetic value in the game, only then to watch these players wearing the hat as they get destroyed time after time fighting against Mohgwyn?! This would make very little sense to me.

@Azzavhar - You would be correct! I was invaded at the church & I did receive the cracked tear...; then I proceded to demolish Mohgwyn. The cracked tear was just so stunningly effective!

Hey. I think it is the Crucible Knight armour. Crucible Axe Set: The whole set is dropped by Crucible Knight Ordovis. And Crucible Tree Set: The whole set is found in a chest within Deeproot Depths behind a Boss. Thank you for watching.

The crazy part I didn't have to do this questline I got locked out but I still got the crystal tear I would love to know if anybody did the same thing that didn't go through the quest line because I didn't have to I fighted at NPC invader and that was it I didn't go through the quest line

Is it possible to beat Mohg without this item?
Ok I actually figured it out. If you've already been to the mountaintop and seen him there you can't do the questline like in the video but at the Second Church of Marika you'll still be invaded and it will be possible to get the item.

Just used this vid for the cracked tear tear for access to the dlc. Can confirm it works but the only addition I'd make is that each time you talk to Yura, exhaust his dialogue until he repeats himself.

I mean it was a cool guide and pretty straight to the point but you can literally just go to the second church kill the invader and get the orb without doing anything else
