@@AdventuresofHappyOurs I agree everybody who has a boat that wants to keep it and it's not a rich person we need to do our maintenance ourselves in order to keep our boats i saved a few thousand myself And that's the only way I can keep my boat.👍🛥🏝
Oh no, the only Hudson river boating channel is leaving. My son moved to Alabama and the other plans to leave soon. I'm hoping with her sons down south that I can finally get the Mrs to leave NY. I do love our hills though.
It’s the camera that came with the boat when I got it. Not sure the model but it’s old and dated but works. It connects to my new Garmin gps via a coax connector. It also needs 12volt power. It has night vision also. The gps has the ability to reverse the image so it doesn’t matter what type of camera you get, the image can be set correctly.
@@AdventuresofHappyOurs What Garmin unit do you have? I have a 7212 that came with the boat. So if it's coax, it's like NTSC resolution and not digital?
I ordered the antenna from Defender.com. It’s a Glomex model #V9112AGC. It fits the original mount on the arch with no modifications. The automatic gain control installs behind the tv. Works great and looks great!
I love working on the boat
That is great savings cap. You spend $4200 but saved about $15000 to $20000 in lavor That's where you save a lot of money👍
Yes. Couldn't afford that boat without my cheap labor. Lol.

NY to FL… good choice. I plan on making a similar move.
Good to see Happy Ours doing so well.
Take the Erie Canal route like the loopers?
I'm not a fan of locks and will take the east coast route.
The trip to Florida sounds great. I am replacing my drip less seals this year also. I haven’t had our 341 out of the water for three years.
3 years! Wow, not even for bottom paint? Im Guessing you pay a diver to scrape and replace zincs?
Yes, had diver check the bottom out and replace the zincs this fall. All is good for now.
Nice! I'll need to do that when I get down to Florida myself. I hope to get dive gear and do it myself. More content for the channel. Lol

Welcome to Florida cap. You will be my neighbor 😉🏝👍🛥
What rearview camera do you have and do you recommend it?

I have the 742 Garmin. Camera is not digital. Simple coax video feed to gps.
Do you have the model number of the antennae?
