So many people criticised the concept of ACC, saying how narrow and niche it was after AC. Personally, I love that KS has done (is doing) this; a full GT3 championship in detail. Good though they are, there's only so much F1, WRC, and so on that I can take: THIS is what I've been waiting for.

@@Exponaut_R-01 Massively agree to this. Not sure where you are based but here in the UK, I really wish they would do a official british touring car game, like in the good old days of TOCA :-). Also really want an official WEC game. Rumours are this might be on its way either in the upcoming GTR3 game or perhaps incorporated into Forza (god i hope not).

I'm one of those who's not really happy with this very narrow focused approach but I understand why they're doing it. From their side it's probably the most intelligent solution possible. Here's how I see it:
ACC will release and we can already tell that it's going to be a good one. So then the devs have a working engine, running a licensed series that's proven to be successful with gamers. Now they can approach other series and just be like "Here's what we *already have up and running*, some fairly minor tweaks and your series name is in every screen instead of Blancpain." And every year they will release a new ACC for a different series, sort of EA-style approach to simracing.
Sounds like I'm complaining, but I'm not really trying to, I'm still not sure if I like the concept from player side of the fence. Yes we'll get really detailed, high quality, representations of real world series. But dropping 40+bucks each time may get a bit tiresome - though I personally got on at the very bottom floor at just $25, but I doubt they will have need of this type of early access for any future re-releases... I guess this will depend on how wild they go with new releases. Ideally for the gamers they will pick two or three bigger series and stick with those. It would be flippin epic to have a proper indy sim! But, as always we wait and see what happens... all the guesses are just that, guesses.
The way the tyre physics work in this game (in terms of bringing up to temperature and going off line) is superb. I loved this game from the start but haven't played it much because of the bugs, now it's starting to feel like a more complete game I'm loving picking it back up.
Your channel is new to me ,and I'm suitably impressed. You are allround great entertainment. It has made a 52yr old bloke feel like getting simmed up as I only use a controller on my various playstations. (feel quite inadequate now). Top site and top bloke. Cheers ears

The first thing that jumps out for me are that the spectators are not cardboard cutouts like in Assetto Corsa; it's not a major issue, but a nice touch.
I don’t know what Gamer Muscle is moaning about I think it’s got a good feel. But I’m using a G27, and after racing on my m8’s direct drive it did feel like my wheel was not working, really don’t like switching between the two. I think this is shaping up to be the best yet, + 1 on the GTR fanboy

Ey Jimmy the devs made a loooot of changes to the game especially graphics, VR, CPU usage etc. Which is why they really recommend that you do a clean install of the game for this version, so everything works fine.
The sounds from dirt rally 2.0 and assetto are the best!

seems like you should help GAMERMUSCLE set up all his force feedback settings, I think he isn't doing it right. I had just watched his video earlier and he was so sour about the front end feedback. This video you have done has really made the game look and sound really good, I wish that I had a PC for racing sims. I will be waiting quite a while for the PS4 version probably!

I have been a long time Forza driver and recently discovered your channel (love it, and watch daily now). It has prompted me to look for more sim games. So I just bought Assetto Corsa and it's downloading now. Can't wait to play it, even though the game looks gorgeous and can be good fun, i'm so over the short races, no qualifying and random grid places of Forza 7. I'm rocking a G920, hopefully one day I can afford a DD and VR setup, sounds amazing.

It's honestly quite hard going back to play other sims after playing this game. I'm a huge GT3 fan, and this game is killing it for me as far as authenticity, feel, sounds, look.. everything. So excited for this!!!

Multiplayer works MUCH better with this release, no errors, lag etc., I think we're almost there, just a few features to add and it's ready. I will put in more hours in ACC now that everything works.
Ooo that radar thing is kool! I only did some hotlaps (hot stint or whatever it's called) in this version so far so haven't seen this thing yet... I'm soooo happy that it's built in, it's about damn time!
The GTR is a fun beastie, I like it, I mean it's not a bentley but it's not bad :P Aaactually, it's very surprising to me but I'm liking all of the cars in ACC so far and normally GT3 is nowhere near my preferred discipline. Really looking forward to the NSX and the rest of the tracks... oh yeah multiplayer would be nice too, and more depth to singleplayer - but obviously this is early access so all that is in the works.

I want the NSX GT3 evo in this game so bad. Besides that it’s just the Aston’s or possible Mclarens that interest me. Don’t see them too much in the US racing series.

@@TopMassEntertainment Yeah I never said it's unrealistic. It's just really irritating when your braking point isn't there anymore, you have the connection in your brain "ok bridge = brake" and now there's error 404 bridge not found
Was just wondering if the OP respond's to any of questions brought up in this thread, I can compleatly understand that a very large subscriber base and sifting through 100s if not 1000s is acceptable, being very new to this genre and spending too much on my setup was looking for guidance, and youtube is full of good advice, I am loving the video's and driving gloves, please keep it up...

I have to say, I didnt really like how the cars handles initially but it has gotten allot better with this build. Maybe its because I know Monza pretty well but still haha. Can't wait for Spa.

Epic video as ever Jimmer. I wonder if ACC is going to get a console release - it had better not be a watered-down version, like it was with the console version of Assetto Corsa. That was a massive let down - only 16 cars on a grid?? Really?? Surely the devs know that the PS4 and Xbox can handle more than that. I think I counted 32 cars in your video, including the Nissan - was I right?

i saw some video where some sort of alien was running a 1:45 on monza and i got depressed ( i just installed acc today ! getting back to sims after 7 years with my old and crappy g27 :D ) , than I saw you averaging a high 1:51 when I am on a 1:52.3 cca and I was very releaved :D

Great video mate, loved the insight into the real gtr’s. Disagree on these being the best GT3’s available, rF2 has nailed it in my opinion and this is the first time for me that ACC has felt anywhere near right. I think that comes down to the new tyre model changes. The sounds though are too notch!

@@wylie2835 No just my opinion, up until this new tyre model I don't think they've behaved anything like a GT3 car, they felt like they were on ice.

Does anyone else get the feeling after they release ACC they will tackle open-wheel, lmp and other racing series, using the new engine and physics? If so, I can't wait for the future of AC and the developers.

Just to let you know, italian is a phonetically consistent language which means that the E's in Competizione are the same as the 'E' in Assetto Corsa. You are now pronouncing it as "competizioni" instead of "competizione". I hope this helps you pronounce italian cars more precisely in the future

the bridge is no longer part of the track, they removed it a couple of years ago. look at videos youll see its not there
I wonder how you setup the heusinkveld pedals to work properly, i keep having trouble with not being able to use the full zone of the pedals, both throttle and brake.
you don't heel-toe here when you're down shifting. Is the car not built for that or is it the game? I am a little confused.
The ffb and brakes are vague to me, other than that, it's coming along and sounds great!!

@XGamerX so ffb isn't for bad drivers then is it! It's for immersion and experience and car feel! Pedals will help your lap times as will VR! But good ffb is awesome.

What AI settings do you folks use? I'm struggling to keep with with 90 AI on Nurburgring GP. But other tracks seem to be easier.
