BEST Coquihalla Rest Stop?! RV Camping at Logan Lake BC - A Hidden GEM!

- RV Camping at Logan Lake Campground had to be the hidden gem of our year for RVing in Canada at least. With electric hook ups for AC and a walking trail around the lake and in to town, we loved it here. The town itself is small but charming (the way we like them haha). It had the basic necessities you would need and a free sani dump location as well should you be planning on staying in the area long term and need to make the trip every now and then.
Another perk to this AMAZING RV park is that the town of Logan Lake is just a short drive off the Trans Canada highway in British Columbia. That means during your BC RV trip when travelling from the Interior to Vancouver, or vice versa you can take a rest break near the top of the Coquihalla, rest, recharge your batteries, leave with an empty tank for free AND enjoy the relaxing slower pace Logan Lake offers while walking the Lake loop right from your campsite. This is a BC camping spot we would have used much more frequently over the years had we realized Logan Lake had such a nice charm and the ability to have Electric hook ups which can be a bit tougher to find while RV camping in BC.
We've got a few other new (to us) campgrounds to share from this last summer's RV adventures and then before long we'll be on to sharing our big plans for 2023! Hey there everyone! Just wanted to say sorry we haven't been very active this winter. Once RV Season wrapped up for us last fall it was back to reality and we've been super busy. We've got a couple more videos from the tail end of last year's vlog season to share with you, but will also be planning an update video to keep you in the loop with WHAT exactly we have been up to and what we have in store for 2023. It's going to be another big year of events for our family to say the least.
Thank you to you all out there for your continued support and patience with us throughout our inactivity over Winter. It's much appreciated! Take care out there!
Thanks for the update. I totally understand about travelling with a kitty. Our cat Davey stays at home and our dog is too afraid of our small 16 ft camper. She's afraid of everything so we leave her with my best friend when we camp.
I hope you all conserve your energy in the off season so you can enjoy your camping when you finally are able. It's been a rough winter for our Minnesota (state south of Manitoba) family. They are getting snow again today.

Yeah just a lot on the go in life combined with very little down time to edit the videos and get them out sadly. Things should be changing soon enough again here though! We'll try and have an update video out soon with all that we've been up to over winter. Thanks for watching 🙂🍁

Hey Lori! Yeah it's definitely been awhile and a lot less over winter, sorry about that. With life, spending time with Chloe, work and everything else ever on the go there just never seemed to be any free time to focus much on here besides try and catch up on a little R&R. Hoping to get an update video out in the next while to go over what we've been upto and what the future plans are. Good evening Cheri! Yeah the cold winter months while working, spending quality time with Chloe and living life, a long with a few big things on the go have really taken all of our "bandwidth" at the moment if you will haha. Doing well, but energy has been spread a little thin at times haha. We'll be filming an update video at some point here about what exactly we have been up to and what the future plans are though, thank you for your patience! As for traveling with Kitty, sadly no plans to at the moment. As fun as it would be to take her outside in campsites more the combination of making her travel in the trailer unsupervised, not having any real space to escape Chloe and call her own and just with how happy she is being a simple home cat just doesn't seem worth troubling her. Kind of a bummer as they were some fun years and a lot of people all loved seeing her but yeah. Anywho, thank you for your support as always and we'll try to get you up to date on all the happenings soon enough. Hope you're having a nice start to spring 😁🍁

Great video. I see on the weather that you are still having freezing nights, but it is getting better all the time. We won't make it to Canada this summer. We are staying near our daughter to help out with our new grandbaby because she had a difficult delivery and needs some surgery to repair an issue. Her husband is great, but he can't get off work for that long. Maybe next year.
Hey there guys! Sorry to hear about the complications in your family and the need to change the plans. Life has a way of throwing those curve balls sometimes but glad you are able to help her out and be there for her at least. Canada won't be going anywhere for next year haha (That we're aware of at least!😂) Enjoy a new little Grandbaby is a special time as well so totally makes sense.
Still some freezing nights and colder days here for sure but hoping Spring gets in full swing before long now. We've had a long, busy winter with work, other life projects and spending quality time with Chloe and haven't had as much time /energy during it to keep the videos rolling as much as we would have liked but hopefully we can get them rolling a bit more now. We'd also like to film a little update video on the current events in our life and the plans/goals for 2023 at some point. Nice to see you all! Chloe just keeps growing. I assumed you were taking the winter off. Looking forward to more fun travel vlogs with you. I'm coming to Canada with my RV this summer and can't wait. Vancouver Island, BC and Alberta! It was SO HARD to get reservations....but Plan B and Plan C will be OK. Can't wait.
Chloe's grown a lot for sure! Yeah winter is our typical slow season, then adding in work again and everything else we have on the go free time is hard to come by and do much of anything else. Should be getting a little better now though.
That's exciting you've got a big trip coming up this year! It is definitely really hard to get a lot of the Provincial and National Park spots without catching them on their opening days sometimes. Hopefully you find some RV parks / private options to help supplement where needed at least. Like this Logan Lake one in this video. We always drive past the town knowing it's just off the highway but had no idea how charming it was and that they had such a nice municipal camping set up. Happy planning and take care!🙂🍁

Hey guys, we are a family of four in the BC area about to embark on on FT RV living next month. We’ve got our rig and are having a hard time finding companies who install solar on a RV. If you guys can shed some insight or advice on where and when to get this done we would greatly appreciate it! And also maybe an update as to what system you’re using and how that’s doing !
Are you full time? What do you do for work?
Not really. The last years have been roughly 50/50. So not full time in the year round working and surviving the Canadian winters experience but still months on the road, laundry and the full time set up/style. Then we work / save up over winter. Cheers 🍁
