Man ... those misses ... incredible ... I swear the RNG is so strange sometimes, it's more like a wave than real random numbers. There is so often a string of low numbers, followed by a jump to a high number, it's absurd.
I spent 8 lock-picks today on a dc 10 chest with +3dex and guidance 😅
its like 5+ crappy numbers then a nat 20. it's wild how often I experience that.
I just found out there is a setting for the die to have true randomness. I gotta find the post again but there’s one that is set to “on” as a default and it’s meant to set your rolls to either bad or good if you’ve had a streak of high or low rolls.
The setting is called “karmic die”.
@@SwedePotato314 I've had karmic die off for nearly all of my runs. I think this is just common with RNGs in general. We just notice it MUCH MORE because we're in a single save file game with consequences.
Wow the number of 70% and higher hit rates that miss is insane! I hate when that happens.

Necromancer is often underrated but wow those archers do so much damage per round and you're not having to dump excessive spell slots per fight.
Yeah, they dish out good damage when they hit. Can help it with both bless from staff, height or phalar.

@@FriendlyLich probably Tactician to test out the build then later harder if I can handle it. I stress out just watching you. Can't imagine me doing it yet haha
@@robertvito1 pal5/bladelock5 works great on tactician since it’ll have three attacks but it will “only” have two on honour mode. So it will probably be quite different on the different modes. I’m not super sure how I’d do it on HM but to practice solo fighting it will do just fine.
