Aardman is animation company behind the iconic stop-motion cartoons, Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, and Morph, it is awesome to see you do an interview with the legend behind that company!
Well that was a day well spent Andy! I've known Pete for around 35 years now and can say that I still love hearing about the old days from him. Aardman really did give me my break into this amazing art form and I've been lucky to have been part of so much with them. You can tell from your interview that Pete still has a lot of passion for stop motion and hopefully we will get to see another film from him one day (even a short would be great to see).
Morph is a pretty amazing stop-motion cartoon series, the most awesome thing is the Golden Morph competition, where people make their own animations of Morph, many of them are amazing, I hope they start that competition again soon.
Loved these! In the 70's I was TOTALLY in love with claymation. There was one, I think it was Man In Flight, shot with white clay on a black background about a man climbing out of the muck of earth and taking flight. Every time he tried something, everyone laughed. Then, every time he succeeded, well, they all copied him. Has anyone else ever seen that?
Such a Wonderfull interview! I have loved Aardman’s Animations from day one on up! And any ‘behind the scenes’ content, too. Your video here adds too this. The Evolution of Ardman. 34:56 one of my favourites he forgot to mention was Cosgrove & Hall tv series, stop motion, Wind and the Willows. Thanks, Andyman! for sharing this and your Flipbook videos! Have a flippin’ great 2024!
Very good and awesome. Good old Peter Lord, a legend of Aardman. Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow! So amazing, so fascinating and so fun to see Peter Lord do animating with your amazing flipbook kit. So cool to have fun with this.
It’s amazing to know that not only you make awesome hand drawn animation in flip books, Andy, but in to stop-motion animations, you should check out TH-camrs who make that stuff like, Guldies, Lee Hardcastle, Klay Kremling, Lego SpongeBob, and PES, awesome content creators!
Hi Andymation I have been watching your videos ever since you put out a Kickstarter for your first flipbook kit and I still have a printed copy of "The Grumpy Cloud" and I fell in love with it. Keep up the good work
I'd like to see a Gumby or Morph style one frame of a time, very little preparation and reference style animation again. It captures a rawness that newer, slicker stop motion has lost. Neither is better than the other. They're both cool.
Hi I’ve noticed a vertical dark line on your left thumb nail. It might be a good idea to have it checked out if it’s not from a splinter. -Sincerely, from a concerned fan with medical background! 🙏
I really liked the chicken run movie! It was awesome. I'm almost done with my flipbook for the contest. Daddy let me put them on TH-cam. Thankyou Andy! Merry Christmas!
I cant believe you still upload even though your video don't get that many views its like you just like to make people happy with your videos and teach others how to make flipbooks I don't think I've ever seen one of your videos get bad comments its like you make perfect videos its just that nobody notices you I feal bad for you andy.
So you worked on chicken run dawn of the nugget right? So in one video you were animating on rocky one of the main characters of the film which seemed to be part of the movie right? But I watched the movie and never saw that scene so I’m a bit confused if that shot was not approved by the director or it was just an animation test? I would love to know what happened!
Hi Andy! It's been 2 months since you announced Flipbool Fest yet you haven't announced how online submissions will take place. Waiting for an update since I really want to Participate.
Hi, my name is Andrew Keeler and I am 27 years old. I’ve always been interested animation but then when I was 16 years old, I didn’t art media level one then 79 mood level two then when I was 23 I would’ve done an access course in Animation and then would’ve gone on to do it be honest degree Michigan, Michigan game 16 or 24 years old and now I’m on the way to 26 or 27 hoping that I’m not too late to be an anime I have a learned disability, but would like to have a Animation for 28th from too late or too old.
