One of the best stories written by the writers/creators. This story is genius, the revenge was perfect, the retribution was perfect. The FL was badass! taking no nonsense from anyone. Please! Writers/creators......do more like this one.

One of the better endings where neither the the mc nor the lead ended up miserable even after divorce, but there wasn't any first love for the lead to go after. I like how he hate bullying and yet the he did nothing to change the toxic work culture, he just kicked out one of the ones doing it and instated the one getting bullied into a higher position, which changes nothing and the same thing will just repeat in the future.
Actually,... I do think Calvin is somewhat miserable after the divorce. After all, he clearly had to have figured out that Oscar was his kid. It is subtly stated that Oscar resembled Calvin. Not to mention, with how often Calvin is said to come around the MC's place and all the times he is allowed to play with Oscar, I would say that it is hard for Calvin to not have figured out that Oscar is his kid. However, it is also known that the MC scolded Oscar for calling Calvin what Calvin actually is to him which was said to have saddened Calvin a little. How would you feel to know that you are playing with your own kid but can't even call yourself their father when you go to an ex's place after an amicable divorce?
A married man should not give another woman an expensive necklace and that woman, even if she is an assistant should keep a professional distant from her employer. He got the nerve to preach right from wrong since he is not associated with it.
If I wrote this story, I would include an after the divorce bombshell. That bombshell being,.... not only is the husband not the father, the wife is NOT THE REAL MOTHER! She volunteered to be a surrogate for a relative or family friend who is struggling to start a family with their spouse. She used her surrogate pregnancy as a means to get that long desired divorce from her jerk hubby. Once the child was born, he or she would be given to the biological parents & our mfc finds a new partner in a male relative of 1 of the parents. How does that sound?
Agree on both counts. Also, the necklace wasn't just any necklace, but one that the wife had openly liked AND was supposed to have when the three went to that very first mentioned auction.
I dont know if i believe that she got pregnant by someone else. I believe she does her son wrong by lying and not finding his real dad. But i bet Calvin is the dad

Therefore, Calvin had to be the father and Mary was very likely a lot farther along than she had actually claimed. Frankly, it is quite deserving when you think about Calvin's actions against the wife. He should have been more aware of the tensions between Nicole and Mary and realize that Nicole was a potential homewrecker. Mary did nothing wrong to him until Nicole showed up in both of their lives.
I don't know how to feel about this one. On the one hand he didn't cheat but he did allow the assistant to do so many unnecessary actions. However there is no such thing as a perfect marriage ever. Both partners in a marriage need to communicate and learn with one another. I also don't like how she isn't acknowledging or letting the son to openly acknowledge his dad. Seems like these days divorce is easier for people to do rather than work at the issues involved in marriage.
He didn't cheat, but he attacked her every chance he had. He knew what he was doing harmed his wife and humiliated her. How could she trust or love him after such a cold blooded assault?

Okay. Honestly, Calvin was definitely cheating and not in the way that he was thinking cheating to be. He can deny it all he wants, but it is a boldfaced lie. You can't exactly blame Mary for commanding Nicole to get out of her passanger seat to get in the back where Nicole should have been in the first place nor can you blame her for her reaction to what happened with the necklace which was supposed to be FOR MARY. He should have apologized to Mary from the moment that the necklace, which he had bought FOR HER, had found it's way into Nicole's possession. However, he intentionally gave no apology. Also, it was far too clear that Nicole had feelings for Calvin. If nothing was going on between Calvin and Nicole, then why was Calvin going to places with Mary? Why was he letting Nicole post about his itinerary? All anyone else knew was that Nicole was practically broadcasting herself out as a mistress which was hurting Calvin's own reputation as well as Mary's reputation. Nicole called Mary a spoiled rich girl that was no better than her. All Mary did was lie and stick to the lie whereas Nicole delusionally never saw her place as a lowly assistant to Mary's husband and therefore was subject to Mary's commands. Frankly, Mary should have given Calvin the ultimatum of an amicable divorce or firing Nicole when he and Nicole presented themselves before Mary so Nicole could 'apologize' to Mary.
Wife just sounds like a shrew, she didn't want to attend any gathering. And just jumped to the conclusions without solid proof, seriously what young person wouldn't post about new exciting experiences.
When in the video was it mentioned she didn't wanted to attend the gatherings. It was her husband who distanced himself from her just because he wanted to get an apology for what she never did (after he confronted her) just because he had a misunderstanding which he himself never tried to clear . Grow up man even you would have done the same thing if your husband would have cut all the ties with you and send the same damn secretary to your house to get his belongings each time and take her too all the places he went allegedly even to his own house to meet his mother even when he knew you dislike her ,No woman would have endured it
