Incredible. Auj is a very versatile band. They can be as heavy as Metallica/Iron Maiden, can play dark Seattle grunge sound of Alice in Chains, sometimes become psychedelic and remind me of Pink Floyd/Porcupine Tree and creative like Tool. What a band

We saw brilliant vocalists, guitarist. But we didn't saw the best of drummers in this season or in the previous ones. In season 2 there was a Band known as Roots. Ooh man their drummer was lit ❤️ He hits them hard and it pleased many.
Darvesh drummer was also awesome
I think Black Hour's drummer was great. Daim was the name.. I think..? He is REALLY REALLY good.
Roots was awesome.
Drummer of Tamasha last season was hell of amazing. Check out his performance in "Is parcham ke" and "Chief Sahab", I don't know why anyone never praised him for that.
And don't forget the drummer of 21 band, he had some great skills too.!!

We are overwhelmed by the love and support we have received so far. It's not easy getting up after falling down again and again. We first came in Season 2, rejected in auditions, then Season 3, shortlisted but then again rejected in auditions, and now we are here. Thank you for reviving Pakistani Original Music, Love to all the fans of Pepsi Battle of the bands ❤

Originals from both the bands are very beautifully arranged and penned. But the best thing was ‘Dil Haarey’, I think Xulfi is the only factory rn in Pakistan to produce talented musicians. Bilawal Lahooti on drums, Usman, Sherry, Melvin on guitars, and Omer on bass. All of them started their career with Nescafe Basement. Respect for Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan aka Xulfi ❤️

Auj is the next mekal hassan band which I loved. Auj do make the covers of “chal bulleya” and “waris shah” by mekal hassan band
Mekaal hassan band is a lot more experimental and mature. They certainly learn a lot from them.
