That’d make some sense, except for the plus joycon is on the right, and the image shows the left side of the system (from looking at the orientation of the kickstand). One of many reasons I’m calling shenanigans.
Why would they have those exposed connectors on the end, the original switch connectors were hidden for a reason. The dock does look kinda legit though because of the vents, Nintendo-looking screws(similar to bottom of 3ds), and regulatory logos(such as the CE logo)
Merry Christmas. As for why the blurry and cropped pics, I can think of a couple of reasons why they would handle it that way. 1) Clout. They have it. But they’re slowly dropping things and as reveal nears we might get more detailed stuff 2) BS. They have a tablet and dock, but it’s not actually a Switch 2. Again, clout, but through falsehood. 3) It’s Switch 2-related, but not a retail Switch 2. Like it could be one of the devkit consoles. 4) Fear. If they have a current retail Switch 2, it opens a lot of questions. Like how would they have gotten a working Switch 2 before the Switch 2 was revealed. Let’s say they’re a dev. Ok. Well, devs still wouldn’t have retail units yet, but let’s say that’s the reason. They would’ve broken an NDA that puts the company they work for in a bad spot while also risking their job. Let’s say they’re work at an assembler. Again, they’re putting their own job at risk (and, through leaking of trade secrets, possibly loss of financial stability for at least a couple of years even if they didn’t lose their job). Say they work at a Nintendo warehouse, since some completed retail units have already started getting delivered and paid for in November. At least the job is definitely at risk.
I’m calling shenanigans. There’s too many things that aren’t aligned with even the mock-ups we’ve seen. The kickstand dimensions look all wrong (the swing arms on the sides where they unfold look way too thick to fit into the system case, I can’t imagine they’d carve out that much volume from the internals for something minimally functional). But also the Bigfoot/UFO/Loch Ness Monster quality of the other photos do nothing to garner confidence.
With images shown & the fact that one or more pictures got tooken down, I believe that he has an actual NS2. Also, the reason I think that more is not shown bcuz he/she took a risk showing off the pictures.
the plus symbol might mean 'this side up' like batteries i suppose. seeing as thought the switch 2 doesn't use rails, an indicator might be helpful at a glance.
The real drama was on reddit where the mods recieving these pictures from Nexthandheld got death threats for posting them as "possibly legit" and people are really mad over there. Sick.
Yeah, Switch U would have been soooo Nintendo.😒 The best way to solve a problem (in this case; preserving brand image without causing product confusion) is, very often, also the simplest way. This was a no-brainer. 'Switch 2' was an easy lay-up. If Nintendo had missed it( in an attempt to please a relatively small group of die-hard nostalgic fanboys) they would have deserved to be mocked for as long as they are in the business.
@@DonutTPOTer I have seen that that's the discourse. But false positives are a real issue in AI detection nowadays too. Which just adds another layer of how funny it will be if NextHandheld turns out to be accurate
Why they gotta half cropped images like they filming big foot or something
That i want to know too

At least they are clear. Big foot and Nessie pictures are always blurry. 🤣
I have a strong prediction, it will be stronger than 5 teraflops
Nexthandheld used ai for that picture y'all
Just the background image surrounding the device.
@@MikeOdysseyNah, the whole pics is ai. He's trolling us😓
@@MikeOdyssey the hand is AI too so no
@@MikeOdysseyI don’t think the device is real either the + is on the wrong side
Lol at the Miyamotos crying face. As if he would care about those things. He is not even in charge of the Mario games anymore.
2:15 looks like it could be the bottom of the dock
For the plus its probably for the controllers cause on each joycon one has a plus and one has a minus its so you dont confuse the joycons

@hyliandweeb 100. They have it but won't show images and video, and also they can't turn it on? It's a 3D printed guess.
LOL the watche over the sleeve in the wrong hand . is trolling people .

Something about this console is telling me they releasing the games with not too long of launch they might kill it 😂😂😂

I'm beginning to wonder if the Switch 2 will ever come out.
They've been stringing us along for so long I'm starting to lose interest.

Question is, were they die-hard nintendo knights, or were they nintendo ninjas in disguise??
Switch 2 is such a "non Nintendo" name ...
It will sell zero copies if that’s it’s real name

I hope they call it “Super Switch”
