    Your dashboards are very fun to watch and really creative. Thanks for the time and effort putting this in for us to see. Curious, is there a reason you did not use data model and then power pivot when creating the relationships between the tables instead of using vlookup? Thanks

    • @LeanExcelSolutions
      @LeanExcelSolutions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Please try =RANK(Y3, Y3:Y45) this formula for better understanding, only it will not be dynamic, if the product range changes, it will required you to adjust the RANK formula range too accordingly.
      I used =RANK(Y3#, Y3#) to make it dynamic.

      @LeanExcelSolutions  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The OFFSET function you're using seems to be structured correctly. If you are using the sample data shared & following the correct steps, it should work correctly. If, however, you are using a different dataset & you are receiving zero values, it may be due to data setup or other factors. Please verify that Column S contains actual data and that the values are in numerical format.
      Should it not work, can you please share a screenshot or file with me so that I can have a look at it and advise you on the problem, since without looking at the data I can't tell what's wrong.

      It is not clear to me if this will solve the rank function error, but I believe that it will
      1. Choose the classic PivotTable layout by right-clicking within the pivot, clicking on Pivot Options, and then selecting Display & check the Classic PivotTable Layout option
      2. Use "=RANK(Y3, Y3:Y1000)" instead of "=RANK(Y3#, Y3#)" if you are not using office 365

    I'm not so sure at the rank - product, how could you get the top 10 product only? It looks like you choose 10 products but they are not top selling?

    when i am using offset it is by default applying to only 1 cell , in your video the height your are selecting you are getting the number of rows, help me with that

    • @LeanExcelSolutions
      @LeanExcelSolutions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, you might be using older version of Excel where offset function will not work as I demonstrated in video. You can use Name manager to define the name & use it for graph.
      I have demonstrated it in other videos, you can refer them.

    why did we use make offsets and not directly the range? There are some concepts that are extremely confusing. Like why did you subtract 9, I think you should give reasons along with it, it would be better for someone who has just started with excel. Like I didn't understand why was there zeros in the scroll bar. When you are using a function, I think you should explain why are you using it and what's the need of that. As someone who started to learn, i think the video was too quick

    No able to understand from 18:40 to 19:02, Rank function is not clear to understand. How was it calculated? And 21:00 to 21:16 how they are calculated? Product and Sum of total selling value

    • @LeanExcelSolutions
      @LeanExcelSolutions  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I used # operator, which is available in office 365 to select the dynamic range.
      If you are using other excel version, you can use "=IFERROR(RANK(Y3:Y1000,Y3:Y1000),"")" instead of "=Rank(Y3#,Y3#)".
