I can't believe we're only one episode into this new season, an awfully SHORT episode I might add, and we already lost one of our engines. And the cliffhanger, amazing. Victor, I am so glad to see you back in action, and I cannot wait for what other surprises you have in store for us
agreed, the episode is half as long as previous ones. I'm hoping it's just a one time thing to get us into the new season with new visuals and whatnot, but if it isn't, this might be the shortest season.
@@PercyNumber6_EXENo that was a random farmer who called in the accident. The cliffhanger suggests we should be suspicious of the new guy. My heart stopped during and immediately after that crash… why did it have to be Geoffrey?! He was becoming my favorite character in the show… well at least him and Alfred are in company once more, rest in peace my dear engine…
I'll tell you why it was Geoffrey: canon characters have military-grade plot armor. OCs are fair game. Though I did notice Bruce isn't in the intro. Maybe that "Killed Off Characters Club" thing is hinting that he'll be one of the deaths in the munitions disaster later this season...
I had this episode's victim on my short list to bite it during this series' take on Munitions, so to say I'm shocked by how sudden, senseless, and brutal their demise was, _and_ that it's made me genuinely wonder who else is at risk of a short stop and a sudden drop between now and the end of "Fallout". Above and beyond as always, Victor.
I know Rob’s full intentions on why he crashed Geoffrey, it is simply because he was souly targeting Henry. That is because his father’s name was Michael Creedy the guard who was killed in the flying kipper crash in “Sabotage”. When Rob told Donald that he and his brother saw him pulling the goods train with their father on board, that said train was the back half of the train Henry crashed into. And in “Smuggling” Donald told Henry that Michael had a wife and two children, that being Rob as one of them, it is clear that leading up to this episode that Rob is angry about his father’s death and blames Henry for it. So when he placed the broken pipe on the tracks he thought it was going to be Henry that crashes with the train, but when Henry gave that job to Geoffrey it saved his life and sealed the fate of Geoffrey. It’s safe to say the with that plan failed it won’t be the last plan he will make till “Revenge”.
Man, i was never expecting Geoffrey to die, because he wasn't even in my mind, but man, for Ep 1, it's short, but has lot's of stuff happening. May Geoffrey RIP.
@@thecrazycharlatan5295 Also, if we defund the Police, we have nothing but complete discord from either every scroate and scunner hearing it's Open Season or from people thinking "Martial Law's the same as Civil Law, right? I don't have to do what these Soldiers say, right?"
Geoffrey's death and Robert Hall being a secret villain (I think)?! I I'm impressed that the story went to such a tragic start! Impressive work, keep doing what you do Victor, your amazing!
Poor Geoffrey. After spending so long to redeem himself and prove he's no longer his past only to end up like that. What a way to start a new season. Nice to see you back Victor, we did miss your SOS episodes.
Good god. I get that this is pure fiction, but it's still disturbing and unfortunate... RIP Geoffrey and his crew. ❤ (well done Victor, you have great talent!)
It's great to see the Stories of Sodor up and running again, but holy hell, I did not expect things to become so dark already in the first episode. I had a feeling the vandalism would escalate, but seeing Geoffrey and his crew get killed by it was a huge shock. Rest in peace, Geoffrey :'( I have a theory about Robert Hall: his father was the guard that was killed in Henry's crash with the Flying Kipper in 1938 ("Sabotage" in Season 2), and now as an adult, he wants revenge on the railways. I remember that Donald was the engine whose train broke away that night.
@@maverick9530 I noticed that too - he was even seen glaring at Henry in the very last frame of the episode. Judging by the trailer, I think he goes after Henry again in "Rescued."
I have to say, for only a year of this season’s events, we are indeed off to a tragic start… Some people haven’t let Peter off the hook despite him serving his sentence, Rob could’ve very well been the child that Henry’s Kipper unfortunately killed Rob’s father in season 2. And if that final shot is anything to go off by, Henry was meant to go instead of Geoffrey. And just like that, Geoffrey is gone. He left a good impression and made amends, and yet he paid for something he didn’t even commit. This year of Stories of Sodor can only get more tragic. On another, notable big improvement on the cinematography. Love the wide tracking shots/ moving camera and that we got a full on crash scene instead of fade to black. I’m sure many of us are excited for this long awaited season
The theory of Mr. Hall being the son of the guard Henry killed is very interesting. Douglas (or Donald, I haven't seen that episode in months) did say the guard left behind two sons. So it would make sense
May he and Alfred reunite in the afterlife. As they both saved lives without even knowing it - and their deaths were justly avenged by the law. Alfred saved a harbor from going up in flames by a ticking bomb; be it, it costed him not only his own life but also the life of his crew and poor Mr. Starr. As for Geoffrey, he saved Henry's life when he decided to take the Flying Kipper himself; not just because the turntable was out of whack but out of his own selflessness of a coworking engine. However that too cost him his own life and his crew when an act of sabotaged vandalism became murder. May both rest well knowing they've done good for the sake of others.
@@elmasterdezoologia6641 Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Too bad it wasn't fully elaborated on as the scene just cuts to black leaving us with just a plothole or several.
I did, but I don’t know if that will be followed up on. Victor said that due to the nature of the SCP, the miniseries might not be fully canon. That said, I think it is canon due to the number of plot holes and questions it’s answers.
@@terancetan5503 You're right, it may only be semi-canon. Because some scenes sound outlandish, like BoCo proving the Revenant theory or the revelation that there are a bunch of Nartwins and they destroy the Skarloey Railway. Or even Johnny Cuba's origin story as the reincarnation of a whole satanic cult
He was an asshole for the longest of times, then after becoming a new engine he became a victim to someone that was an image of his former self. Rest In Peace
@@keithharrissuwignjo2460 I honestly was hoping to hear "He's in bad shape and may not live much longer. He's gotta have an emergency overhaul in order to survive." But instant death was not what I expected
I literally Started Tearing up hearing the words "There was no hope". Geoffrey was and still is one of my favorite characters in this series and his death hit me like stones. But I must say being able to make us feel emotional during a show about talking trains is crazy. Amazing work Victor!
NOTE: My thoughts here will contain some spoilers so if you haven't watched the whole episode, please make sure that you do before commenting. Episode 1 time and oh boy, we're already crashing into things, pun fully intended! To start things off, it's nice to see the Great Western branch line in motion, seeing more of Wendell and William again is very nice to see and it's nice they're doing well with the oil deliveries. But I wish they had more in this episode, I mean after all, we just introduced the branch line fully, so a full episode with them as leads would've been interesting in my opinion. It completely sucks that they and all of the engines have experienced a lot of Vandalism on the railway, the worst case being later. Poor Peter though, seeing that being spray painted on the back of his bunker. That is horrible, I mean I get why and I understand that Peter doesn't deserve the sympathy for what he did during the war but it is still completely horrible to see and it just makes me feel bad for him more. And the cops in this episode, feels like the current day with them not doing their jobs majority of the time. I get it’s due to the strike though. Happy to see more of Derek recently and him being part of the Fire & Rescue service. It feels like we're going to see more of him throughout this season and I'm looking forward to that if that's the case. It will be wonderful to see his progress throughout until the end of the season. And Mr. Robert Hall, what an interesting character. Seems nice at heart at first however, it seems that there's more to his character than we might have thought, maybe he might be the main antagonist throughout this season, given the ending line for the episode. That would be quite interesting to see, along with if his project is going to lead with the episode "Competition". And finally, we crash down a hill and poor Geoffrey and his crew get killed from the huge piece of metal, derailing them. I am incredibly sad that Geoffery is gone. I really enjoyed seeing his character grow throughout the previous seasons, going from a sabotager who can't be trusted to improving himself and becoming a more model citizen. That is so sad that he died the way he did. Just shows how grim 1965 is going to be throughout the rest of the episodes. At least he's reunited with Alfred now. May he rest in peace… In short, as for how short this episode is at around 10 minutes long and for how quick the episode can be throughout, there's a lot going on here and we just started. From the vandalism to Geoffrey's death. That's a lot to take in and I am so scared about what's going to happen in the next upcoming episodes. Off to an interesting start, Victor!
I'd like to add on a theory. Mr. Hall did say his father worked for the railway, and as a guard. And that he and his brother saw the twins pulling goods trains. What if Mr. Hall's father is the one that died in the breakvan Henry crashed into during the sabotage episode? And Mr. Hall is holding a grudge against the engines?
I think it’s safe to assume Robert lost his father when Henry accidentally collided into his breakvan back in Season 2. And as a child, they would irrationally blame the one who directly took their parent’s life, even if it they were innocent. Who would’ve thought that the vandalism at the sheds saved Henry’s life more than he ever knew, and took Geoffrey’s. Also look at the final shot, he’s glaring at Henry of all engines, and it’s clear he was targeting the Kipper, under the assumption Henry would be pulling it, and no one else
@@kyledragonheart3875 I actually agree with you! Because Donald was pulling a goods train behind him and it broke off while he was heading to Crosby and Mr. Halls father's name from what I could remember his name was Michael.
@@kyledragonheart3875Well, if it is him, he either had his last name changed at some point or is using a fake name. The guard of that train went by a different name after all.
@@LFPman It's actually starting to make a lot more sense. After all, I'd probably blame Henry if I was in Robert's shoes. And if it is Robert that attempted to send Henry off the rails, he used the wave of vandalism to his advantage
Theory time: Robert Hall's father was Donald's guard from "Sabotage". You know, the one that died? Henry crashed into his brakevan, and Geoffrey was under suspicion at the time, as he had only just turned over a new lead. Makes sense why his son would seek revenge upon Henry and/or Geoffrey.
@@ryanbelcher25rbunless Mrs Creedy remarried to a guy whose last name is Hall. But who knows who that is. But I say it may be a son of a former Blackshirt. More so, I think Tom McKinley may have another family member that may have been waiting to strike.

Released an hour earlier than usual. Not a bad surprise, Vic! 👍 Oh, those little bits with Toad in the beginning crack me up. 😆 Nice new facial expression for Peter. 2:58 Oh, man. While this episode is certainly shorter than expected, it escalated rather quickly. Poor Geoffrey. And I have a strong inkling as to Rob's past...
Oh man. What a way to start the season off. I'm saddened that Jeffery is gone. Nice work Victor Tanzig. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the season will play out.
This episode was like a flashbang: a violent interruption to comfort and looming fear of future consequences. Also i bet the non-faceless keep getting green watered, and thats why they dont notice the vandalism.
Oh, My God. This Episode Is Both Amazing and Heartbreaking. It's Sad To See One of The Best Chaps on The Railway Pass Away, Because of Vandalism. Rest In Piece, Geoffrey. I Will Miss You So Much.
Amazing Video Victor! Cant wait to see the rest but I feel so sad that Geoffrey has died in this episode. Me and my friends were debating on who would die this season since the trailer said An Engine had died and I Said. “I feel like Geoffrey is gonna die” and seems like I was correct
Good Work! You should make a Sodor Answers on - Why are nonfaceless vehicles such heavy sleepers?! Also what a twist at the end. I have two ideas on who the father was, but that's for a later date.
Amazing story as always but it is sad to see that Geoffrey’s got killed in the very first episode of Season Five. Geoffrey was a good Engine. I didn’t like him at first but he soon warmed up to me RIP 🪦
I have a hunch that Bear is going to be replacing Geoffrey. Still. I’m shocked that this accident ended up killing him. This reminded me of “Modernization,” in that episode, Geoffrey hit a tree and crashed, and he survived that. This accident seemed less severe. And when James (in Management), Peter (in Spectre) and Henry (in Sabotage) each crashed into their trains, while badly damaged all 3 survived. The severity of this crash (compared to those I just mentioned) would have let me to believe that he would survive, and I’m shocked he didn’t.
The impact appeared to have snapped a huge chunk of boiler off his corpse. In other words, if this was an animation software, we'd see every which way he folded like an omelette
@@BlooMonkiMan Didn’t notice that at first. What was that thing he hit which caused him to derail? A pipe? Whatever it was, it must have been heavy considering its sizes, and the fact that he was pulling a heavy goods train.
@@ianp1745 He was also descending Gordon's hill, so his speed was being accelerated by the weight of the Kipper and thus he was going far faster than he would be otherwise.
Wow! I had a feeling this was going into a dark direction. I was shocked to see Geoffery die and I thought he might survive, and good thing Henry didn't take the Flying Kipper. I always wanted to see a Thomas story tackle on Vandalism, and this was good.
Judging by that cliffhanger shot, I'm gonna guess that Robert Hall was one of the two sons of the guard Henry's Kipper crash killed back in season 2. RIP Geoffrey. 😔
I KNEW IT. The minute Rob's face showed up with Donald I had an immediate gut feeling like "yeh I don't trust him" I FUCKING KNEW IT. My intuition screamed out to me this guy ain't trustworthy the minute his face showed up at the start. I'm sad we lost Geoffrey though, gonna miss the "yes quite". His natural charisma will definitely be missed. RIP Geoffrey and his crew. Also the cinematography in this was amazing. Well done. Amazing start, I have a very strong feeling Stories of Sodor S5 is gonna play out like canon TTTE in the sense that it is going to be the wildest one.
@samuelglenn5232 Not really if I'm honest. I know my intuition wasn't exactly correct with potining the finger at Robert but I was in the right ballpark with assuming the culprit was heavily to do with him so I'll take that as a minor win lmao.
Poor Geoffery. 😞 At least he died knowing he was doing good for another engine. If anything, he pretty much saved Henry's life without even knowing it. He may have been a hooligan at one point in his life, but he became a hardworking engine since then - always willing to help another engine in need that doesn't include epsionage (like he did with Diesel/Bruce). He offered to help Henry pull the Flying Kipper not because the turntable was out of whack, but out of his own selflessness and he met an unfortunate demise. May both he and Alfred rest well knowing they'll see each other in the afterlife. 😞
9:30 I have a shocking theory!! What if Robert ( who is most likely the antagonist) lied to Derek and Mickey so that Henry could feel bad or something like that to make him feel guilt for what he did to his father.
Wow. What a way to start a season. Rip Geoffrey and his crew. Also I want to place my bet and say that Robert Hall’s father was the guard on the train the flying kipper crashed into back in season 2
Good god, out of the frying pan and into the fire, I honestly didn't think we'd get a character death so quick... I hope Geffory gets his revenge somehow, the island isn't a stranger to ghosts. I also hope he and Alfred can catch up better in the after life.
I didn't even realize the crash killed Geoffrey himself and misheard Derek until Edward's narration. What a shock I had replaying that last scene, as he didn't seem dead beside the big piece of his boiler broken off due to the lack of a shut eye face. Also, you might want to reshoot the intro clip of Geoffrey passing Joshua/Diesel 10 because that's no longer possible, unless it's a deleted scene from Prototypes.
Yeah, part of me won’t let go of the idea that Geoffrey actually survived the crash, but they’re faking his death as part of the investigation for… some reason, and it’s because he still had his normal face. Adam had a unique face when he was euthanized, and Johnny Cuba _lost_ his face when the black water was poured into his tender ‘on accident’.
I just noticed, with Geoffery having been killed here, it's even worse and more messed up that his last ever line would be his catchphrase, "Nyeesss, quite." And that's the last time we ever hear it too. And even if he was told not to crash into anything, he still somehow did anyway and got killed by it!! CURSE YOU, HALL, STRIKE, HOOLIGANS, AND THAT PIPE ON THE HILL!!!!! What is it with The Flying Kipper always getting into accidents! All those previous ones were never as bad as this! This should never have happened to him!
Stupid strike and vandalism! These shouldn't have happened! Nor Geoffrey being killed off right at the start of the season! They can't do this to us! Where's Joey when you need him? He should have been here to help out as well! By the way, I really hope we get this time to hear about his first case since we didn't back in Season 3. Even when we were just about to during then. Plus, Robert being the dad of that one guard that was previously killed is highly possible, I figure. And I truly hope he gets his own back for what he's done here. He should be arrested and killed in the brig at once!!!
I have a theory about the Salvatore’s motivations so Potential spoilers: Perhaps the saboteur was the son of the guard killed in the Flying Kipper incident? After all, this episode, suggest that he was responsible for sabotaging the flying kipper, and as Henry put it “it should’ve been me”. He was intending on killing Henry, but wasn’t aware that Jeffrey was going to be pulling the train instead. This theory would also explain why he seemingly doesn’t hold a grudge against Donald. Seeing as Donald was part of the LMS he likely worked with this guard and could’ve been considered a friend.
This episode is amazing. Although, I'm awestruck by Geoffrey's death. Like, he served his character arc, but it's so unceremonious, He's an OG character to this series and he's done away with in less than a couple minutes of screentime with so little buildup. It hits greatly and I don't hate it, but now I'm... I don't know.
What a crashing start to Season 5! Spoilers beware but… Poor Geoffrey and his crew. They didn’t deserve such fate. 😢 Also Robert being a possible major antagonist?!
It’s back, ladies and gentlemen. IT’S BACK! Edit: warning spoilers So Geoffrey was the first character to die, good lord. I knew some characters were going to die, but didn’t expect the first one to be in episode 1
Spoiler warnings. Don’t click more if you haven’t viewed the full episode. It’s a damn tragedy how action only seems to take place after violence, completely ignoring the months of buildup to said violence. Also rip Jeffrey.
it all makes sense now, in the preview episode in the S5 playlist you can see henry actually derailed a couple of episodes later and it's probably revenge
What a start to a new season... Rest in peace Geoffrey. He began a villain and ended a really useful engine. Also, somewhat nostalgic that he took the Flying Kipper as the LNER did handle fish trains back in the day. Looks like Robert Hall is going to be the running villain of this season. I wonder if he'll use some of Geoffrey's parts in his "experiment".
My goodness, I was shocked at what I just witnessed and very heartbreaking as well. May Geoffrey and his crew rest in peace. He will be deeply missed, and the episode was deeply emotional and well-made as always. It's great to have the series back, yet we will never forget Geoffrey, he'll always be remembered...😢
That is the shortest episode ever. 5:26 Sir Topham Hat didn't have his hat on.... first time that's happen. Seeing Robert at the end, he must have been the one who killed Geoffrey. Rob must be seeking revenge on the railway for some reason. At first I thought he is the son of the guard who died from Henry's crash in S2 episode "Sabotage" but then I realised his last name is not the same as the guards last name.
Dear, God... Why Geoffrey? rest in piece you will be missed... Also poor Henry he must be carrying a lot of guilt about Geoffrey and damn Rob that imbersil, he certainly looks a crook. Great episode Victor! I can't wait to see whats next!
This episode caught me off guard since I though it was supposed to be released tomorrow. This episode was definitely a sign to show what this season has in store. Rip Geoffrey
Just a reminder. Victor Tanzig is from Australia. For him, it is tomorrow (Saturday) but for most of us, it's still Friday. He has Stories of Sodor episodes uploaded for every Saturday at 12am his time, which for us is on Friday at whatever time it is for you. For my case, it will be 2pm Friday until when the clock goes back in which, for me, it would then become 1pm Friday from November 3rd.
Well, we only started episode 1 of Season 5 and we already lost Geoffrey. Tbh, I'm shocked that he snuffed, as I always thought Peter would be the first character to bite the dust. Regardless, as the narrator said, the acts were only getting started by the culprit, which brings me to Robert Hall, the new Superintendent of Crovens Gate. The fact that the episode ended as the camera showed him, I have a feeling that he's the culprit. If so, it raises questions, like why would he be doing acts of terror? What would he have to gain from doing so? A major clue that has been provided to us is the fact that his father used to be a guard on a good's train that Donald had taken before. That could be a major clue that could give us a possible motive for why Robert is committing these terror acts, assuming he's the actual culprit. Now, Robert said he was eight when he last saw Donald, so if we could get an age on him, we may be able to determine what year the two last saw each other. And if that is achieved, we may be able to find out if there was any event that could have effected Robert. Now, I know that it's mostly speculative and circumstantial at best to support the theory that Robert Hall is the mastermind. And I will concede that he might not even be the culprit. But until the new episodes come out, all we have to go by is the evidence and theory that I have provided. Let me know what you all think in the comments below.
@@the212thproductions9 I don't think that's Farmer McColl at all. I believe it's just a regular farmer, not involved of the crash. He is looking over the crash, but you will also notice he ran back inside in which the next scene shows Mickey and Derek racing to the scene of the crash. Basically, I just think the farmer saw the crash and called for help of the scene. Nothing more.

Robert Hall!!!! HOW DARE YOU!!!!!! WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS, AND WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO GEOFFREY?!?!?!! THAT WASN'T FAIR!!!!! And ugghh! I have a feeling that he's gonna be a villain throughout this whole season! We MUST get rid of him at once after that upcoming Munitions episode. I say that because he might be responsible for that particular disaster, and he should be executed for killing some of the engines with it.
i've just rewatched this. i can confirm that robert hall was the son of the guard that got killed in the flying kipper incident in the episode "sabotage" because he mentioned seeing donald at the age of 8 and he was pulling a goods train, he also said he father was the guard. robert very clearly blames henry for that incident and wanted revenge and he placed that piece of metal on the track for the kipper to hit, normaly that would mean henry's death but since geoffrey took it he died.

That is some incredible thinking, it makes so much sense!
you know what we saw the rescue episode in the trailer? i have a feeling were gonna get it much closer
Rob's surname is Hall. So I highly doubt that he's connected to that guard. Unless he changed his surname, but I think that's unlikely.
Unless Hall is a made up name? Devert from his real name/identity, keep the engines and staff from suspecting him?
@@rubysaur777donald said there were a lot of workers named hall, perhaps he chose that alias because of that fact alone

It's great to see the Stories of Sodor up and running again, but holy hell, I did not expect things to become so dark already in the first episode. I had a feeling the vandalism would escalate, but seeing Geoffrey and his crew get killed by it was a huge shock. Rest in peace, Geoffrey :'(
I have a theory about Robert Hall: his father was the guard that was killed in Henry's crash with the Flying Kipper in 1938 ("Sabotage" in Season 2), and now as an adult, he wants revenge on the railways. I remember that Donald was the engine whose train broke away that night.
You're probably right, let's see where it goes :)
I mean Donald did say that the guard had two boys. Also the fact that he targeted the kipper makes it only seem more like he wanted it to be henry
@@maverick9530 I noticed that too - he was even seen glaring at Henry in the very last frame of the episode. Judging by the trailer, I think he goes after Henry again in "Rescued."
i can only agree to waht you said and after all this is victor so a lot of turns are about to commence in rescued.@@Douglas57647
Not on the railways On Henry specifically
I have to say, for only a year of this season’s events, we are indeed off to a tragic start…
Some people haven’t let Peter off the hook despite him serving his sentence, Rob could’ve very well been the child that Henry’s Kipper unfortunately killed Rob’s father in season 2.
Finally someone elce noticed who that guy was as soon as that scene finished i new who he was

Rest in Peace, Geoffrey. You shall not be forgotten.

So based off his background, Hall’s father was likely killed in Donovick, or was the guard taken by Arthur’s ghost.
May he rest in peace…
In short, as for how short this episode is at around 10 minutes long and for how quick the episode can be throughout, there's a lot going on here and we just started.
It wasn't, the Guards name was Michael Creedy. So that is a no.
@@ryanbelcher25rb Which is probably why Donald didn't recognize the name.
@@ryanbelcher25rbunless Mrs Creedy remarried to a guy whose last name is Hall. But who knows who that is. But I say it may be a son of a former Blackshirt. More so, I think Tom McKinley may have another family member that may have been waiting to strike.

Judging by that cliffhanger shot, I'm gonna guess that Robert Hall was one of the two sons of the guard Henry's Kipper crash killed back in season 2.

@samuelglenn5232 Not really if I'm honest. I know my intuition wasn't exactly correct with potining the finger at Robert but I was in the right ballpark with assuming the culprit was heavily to do with him so I'll take that as a minor win lmao.

@@ShocktimusMagnus No one needs to, I’ve seen the finale mate. I still take it as a partial win thinking that who it was was linked to Rob.
I actually liked Jeffery so I am quite sad to see him go but its a great episode none the less but I will never get used to Peters new face.
Poor Geoffery. 😞
At least he died knowing he was doing good for another engine.
Maybe mr. Hall lied about Geoffrey's death for his Revenge plan against the railway
It's a cruel irony that Geoffrey died due to sabotage
9:30 I have a shocking theory!! What if Robert ( who is most likely the antagonist) lied to Derek and Mickey so that Henry could feel bad or something like that to make him feel guilt for what he did to his father.
True, but if Geoffrey did survive, what did Hall do to him
This is crazy but maybe he might have given Geoffrey black water.... (oh God this is worse than before)
If that's the case and Geoffrey was simply unconscious he may have been scrapped while still alive without anyone knowing

I have a theory about the Salvatore’s motivations so Potential spoilers:
Perhaps the saboteur was the son of the guard killed in the Flying Kipper incident? After all, this episode, suggest that he was responsible for sabotaging the flying kipper, and as Henry put it “it should’ve been me”. He was intending on killing Henry, but wasn’t aware that Jeffrey was going to be pulling the train instead. This theory would also explain why he seemingly doesn’t hold a grudge against Donald. Seeing as Donald was part of the LMS he likely worked with this guard and could’ve been considered a friend.

Can't wait for the next installment! Every time I watch a new episode of the Stories of Sodor it gets me excited for the next new one!

1:50 Not even 2 minutes in and I'm dead 😂 And I'm with William. It's amazing where these hoodlums can get to
3:29 "Nazi killer!"? Isn't that a good thing?
4:30 okay, maybe the notion I've seen that Michael Grady is Robert Hall's father isn't a patreon leak...
7:55 Christ almighty... No survivors!
10:10 10 episodes of this guy trying to end the NWR? Good Lord...
Could be more if Geoffrey had any non-faceless trucks on the Flying Kipper
Another great episode from Victor, and a powerful episode to boot.
Bring on Series 5!
And judging by this episode it’s shows that Edward is right about 1965 being a grim year.
What a way to a start off the season, RIP Geoffrey you weren't the best engine at first but you reformed and made amends with all those you wronged and became a delight to the engines, may you rest in peace you'll be missed
I remember watching the Season 2 premiere when I was in the 7th grade. Now I’m a college student and still an active fan. Keep up the great work, my friend!
It’s awesome that your back but I’m so sad that Jeffrey is gone now he was one of my favorite characters that had a great turn around 😭😭
Bloody hell we've only just started the season and now we have to deal with Geoffrey death
7:53 - That red engine did NOT deserve to "go down" like how he did. Considering his appearance in the intro, I thought for sure he'd be given a new lease on life. And we're only just getting started in the 5th season.
His name is Geoffrey
@@thethomasthetankenginechan4055 I knew that!
@@FTVS-CM45 Ok
He was already given that before it was cruelly snatched away from him and he was cruelly snatched away from us 😔
Amazing work!!! I can’t wait to see more
Despite the short duration it's sad to see Geoffrey leave. He'll be with Colin, Adam, Lilly, Alfred, Mr. Star, and Andreas.
This may have been short and long-awaited but It was worth it in the end. Rest in peace Geoffrey and his crew. We will miss you deeply.
Season 5 is finally out!! I can’t wait for next episode, I wonder if it’ll be called hijacking…
And Season 5 begins, and like Thomas The Tank Engine's, it'll be dark.
Why do I get the feeling we’ll be seeing a new ghost train this series…
Beautiful start to Season 5 and I wonder what the engines would think of Banksy?
Edit: Geoffrey was killed!!?? I'm gonna find the SOB who did it and kill him!!!

SPOILERS BELOW:
It took only one episode into the new season and someone's dead, in an episode that is shorter than the norm.
Looks like the new man's the true saboteur and has some other motive, although what?
RIP Geoffrey.
(Spoilers)
“Not all of us would live to see it’s end…” not even an episode in and this rings true
This was amazing, even though it was short. The new scenic veiws look amazing, especially when Geoffrey takes the kipper. I love it so much. I also wonder if Mr. Halls father had something to do with dominic as for it was the twins guard.
The stories of sodor is staring season 5 off pretty good! Keep up the good work Victor Tanzig!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉YES SEASON 5 IS OUT
It’s like the real season 5 from ttte
i've just rewatched this. i can confirm that robert hall was the son of the guard that got killed in the flying kipper incident in the episode "sabotage" because he mentioned seeing donald at the age of 8 and he was pulling a goods train, he also said he father was the guard.
robert very clearly blames henry for that incident and wanted revenge and he placed that piece of metal on the track for the kipper to hit, normaly that would mean henry's death but since geoffrey took it he died.
SEASON 5! LETS GO!!
Meanwhile in the KKK club:
Lily: Oh Geoffrey, what happened?
Geoffrey with Fred’s voice: Arrgghh some hippo face killed me and my crew and Victor killed me off.
Andreas: Beeen there.
Alfred: That’s disgraceful, Disgusting and Despicable, Victor you’ve got some explaining to do!
Victor: I regret nothing!
