I. Am. FLOORED. You have done incredible work with this video. The RWS aesthetic, the editing, the added bits of grief and panic for both Dudley and Bear - it is all PERFECT. You made Dudley’s final tirade so intense, just as I hoped it would come across. This is my personal favourite adaptation of these stories - very well done!
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed my addaptation as much as I loved the stories!
I agree!! Well done 😌👍🏾
@@NwrDucki loved the use of the murder drones soundtrack fit very well and a pleasant surprise
So much murder drones references.😱😄
I have to agree. This is an absolute masterpiece out of every other adaption!
This one actually feels like a proper, functioning railway with genuine, real personalities inhabiting it. Bloody marvelous!
And also, Topham doesn’t seem so stupid in this adaptation.
All I hear during the final confrontation is “for one of you, the darkest pit of hell has opened to swallow you whole. So don’t keep the Devil waiting, old friend”, and it fits pretty well imo
I love that u added Dudley having panic attacks it’s adds to his character so much
God sake this great the last story with Dudleys pupils so small plus the way you nailed it was spot on
Yeah it look like he was losing his sanity
@@RudeboyzRudeboyz he is,to him,Sodor was Dudley's last chance for a home but seeing The Fatt Controller sending him away,Dudley lost it,he was being sent away from his last chance of a home, and he has the courage to face the Fatt Controller, somthing that even Diesel or Diesel 10 can do it,Dudley was right about one thing,he will be remember but he will not be missed.
0:35 Ok using that BATIM/BATDR music for Dudley's arrival is f~cking perfect. It fits his personality so well.
As a bendy fan, i liked it.
I love how real everything looks.
I love the landslide sequence in your adaptation! The SFX and choice to have the express a super long train like many IRL ones was a stellar choice! Makes the entire sequence feel like Dudley's pushing himself past his limits to try and save everyone from the landslide!
That's what I was going for!
Man this is so well-shot, the lighting and the music, absolutely gorgeous. I also adore the use of RWS models and sets, that Emily model in particular is stunning. Also the added shots here and there were really nice too.
Also I just realized today Dudley is the Scrap Engine from Demons, which is crazy to think about.
Wait! No way! That’s insane yet creepy too.
@blairterry9435 Yep the creator himself confirmed it, as Dudley is the same class as the scrap engine. Bear waking Dudley up is also a reference to the Scrap Demon getting pissed at Diesel "disturbing his sleep".
Wow. This. Was. AWESOME! This was perfect in every way, shape, and form. And you nailed it all to a tee.

I love the fact that you made the express have over a dozen coaches while most people just stick to 4 or 5, really puts up the stakes. Wonderful video! Keep up the great work!

This has absolutely got to be my favourite adaptation of this saga. Awesome work!!
Thank youuu !!
I love the choice of soundtrack, it made the story alot more intense, the shots, the lighting, were perfect! gotta be the best Dudley adaption that I've seen so far
Great job on this! I'm sure it was worth it in the end for you. I really liked how you pulled off the ending with the music you used. So eerie and mysterious...
This collection of dudley stories are my favourites of all time excellent work, thomas and friends will always be cherished in my memories
By far the best adaptation of this story that I've seen and the only one that's done in the style of the RWS books.
There's so many details in this that I loved. Like how Donald noticed Dudley's train hadn't left yet before Henry's accident, Dudley panicking when Bear took him off of the train and the music used when Donald and Bear confronted him with the Fat Controller. Loved the pupil dilation in that scene, showing his rage and cunning extremely well.
Loved that Donald had more of a presence here too, watching Dudley closely and clearly showing sympathy for Bear.
It’s nothing important in the stories I know, but during the end, I like how it’s somewhat implied Dudley slowly began going crazy after the Fat Controller sent him packing. Showing just how desperate he was for a home and how the one place he thought would give him one betrayed him for, in his eyes, the side of diesels. Sometimes people can be sent over the edge over the silliest little things and be completely blind to the bad things they’ve done because of fear. In this case, Dudley so traumatized he’s get scrapped that he was relentlessly willing to get Bear sent away too ‘help the island out’ as he could’ve thought, possibly to take Bear’s place on the railway. Now put all that together, and I’m pretty sure him going crazy is a pretty believable aftermath. But hey, that’s just me.
Then again,Dudley's deperation got him to do those things and in the end,his fait was sealed.
If Dudley succeeded in getting rid of Bear, I have no trouble believing he would have done the same thing to BoCo.
@@joshuaW5621 I guess that would make sense. Though, probably if he took one of BoCo’s acts of kindness as threatening like he did with one of Bear’s.
And I wonder how he would have reacted if Sir Topham Hatt brought in Arry, Bert, Paxton, Derek, Salty, Pip and Emma and Philip.
Absolutely loved this take on the story! The way you changed up some of the scenes in the story really makes it stand out, and I especially loved the confrontation near the end! Great work!
This was absolutely brilliant! Everything about it was spectacular to put it lightly! The realistic length of all the passenger trains and goods trains, the accurate portrayal of Henry's beginning accident, it's all bloody incredible! Splendid job, I tip my hat in respect to you sir! Keep up the stupendous work!
Thanks but I'm not a he nor she. I'm not part of a binary you see
@@NwrDuck I see, my mistake. Still, wonderful video
This is without a doubt the best adaptation of the Dudley story I have seen by far!!! The tension, mood, themes and visuals were all so well done throughout, it was a true pleasure to watch. I am a sucker for the more gritty/realistic RWS look, and feel it works supremely well with this story. I like the flash scenes of Dudley’s fears of scrap when being moved by Bear - it really helps show the story more from his perspective and makes understand and even somewhat empathise with his situation.
Truly great work, can’t wait to see more from you soon!
This is definitely without a doubt the best adaptation of dudley the vagrant engine out of all the adaptations of this story I've seen.
I especially like the part where dudleys and it gives of an understanding of dudleys intentions on why he was desperate to make the NWR his home by any means necessary knowing life is hanging by a thread, and I also like the fact where dudley was denied sanctuary at the NWR because of his stint to get ride of bear and went insane knowing what fate awaited him, as it was his was of say to the fat controller, you betrayed me and sent me to my doom.
Bear and Duck now have something in common
Being gaslit!
@@NwrDuck I was talking more about the fact that they were both framed but yeah that too
this was insanly well done, I hope you do more in this RWS style, Epically with that Emily model, shes really under represented in the trainz thomas machinma space
God damn, that was amazing!! I loved some if the shots that you did, as well as your music choice! And of course let’s not forget the little touches that you added to the story like Dudley’s dream scene! I loved the entire thing and I can’t wait to see what else you make!! :D
What else can I say other than this is utterly incredible! I loved everything about this, especially your choices for the soundtrack.

Dude, everything about this is perfect! The shots, the lighting, the aesthetic, everything!
I’d be pissed if i was named dudly, but I would love to see Dudly melted down
I was only able to pop in for a little bit during the cannonball scene, but when I got to the end and heard the owl house music,
Just wow
Very well done
The music before the ending is also pretty good, it’s the music from the ending to FNaF 6 that I’d thought I’d never hear in relation to ttte outside of Trainboy!
10/10, I have nothing to complain about
I gotta say, this is my favorite adaptation of Dudely's stories I've seen yet. The others have been good too, but this is my personal favorite among the adaptations so far. It's because of Donald being more present throughout the stories and seeing his reactions to the going ons and the sublte things that Donald does care about Bear's well being. He's not always speaking, but he feels so involved with what's going on.
Que to me over analysing:
It seems to me, Donald stayed in a berth between Bear and Dudley as if it to be the barrier between them, knowing Henry is at the works along with most of the other engines too blind to notice the coldness Dudley is giving to Bear as well as Donald being suspious about Dudely, he takes this role of being a supporter and company for Bear since Gordon, James and the most of the engines adore Dudley. I imagine he can't truly reprimand Dudely for his coldness torwards Bear, because he and his brother were like this towards diesels before they warm to to the good ones and even before they finally for over their prejudice towards diesels in general in the future. Donald is giving some slack to Dudely, but he still doesn't very much appreciate the attitude Dudley gives to Bear given it's been a week or so by then given the frown and the steam he let off after Bear was trying to he nice to him again. Like come on, Bear has been nothing, but nice to you, can't you give him a chance? Then again, who was he to judge? Dudley didn't know Bear like he does. Maybe he just needs more time. Since the others are going a poor job to look after Bear, Donald is going to be the on to look after him, proabably conversing with him throughout and at the end of the day since most engines are doting on Dudley. However while it's good on Donald to putting on foot on the plate, he didn't fully step up with two on defending and showing his support in full. It may have been better if he had.
When Bear was pushed to his breaking point...oh my word the poor thing. He must have felt so utterly alone with no one to turn too for him it seems, Henry isn't here, no one has stood up for him, and everyone is angry at him for things he didn't do and think he is horrid. Like it isn't just the mainline engines that seem to be upset with Bear. I noticed that Fergus was frowning and glaring at Bear when the Hymek was guilt tripped into giving the Express to Dudely. Like news of Sodor travels fast so I don't have any doubt Fergus has a bit more of a soured veiw on Bear (The "Do it right!" attitude is still emantating from him without saying a word.) Who can turley say that those that didn't know Bear that well enough yet had more of a negative new of him thanks to Dudley? Bear knew the steam engines general opinions of diesels and with a steam engine with a sob story that won the big engines over and has a clear dislike for him, is it any wonder why he ran off? Donald must to have heard the comotion given the look before being suprised at how distressed Bear looked as the Hymek ran off. I have no doubt Donald demanded to know what was going on to the others and can't wrap it around his smokebox that Bear would have any malice in him. With Donald and Douglas, you can't buy their loyalty and trust through honeyed words, fear, or bargains. You earn their trust through action and genuineness. BoCo finally won those two over when he helped them up a hill and they were like, "Hey this guy isn't too bad." I imagine Henry helped in putting in a good word for Bear to the others, but I imagine Bear's genuinely nice personality along with being such a helpful and hard worker won the twins over quickly and they along with the others band together to help convince The Fat Controller to keep the Hymek and rename him Bear. Once you really earn the twins' trust and loyalty on top of genuinely liking you, you need to mess up big time with them to get them stop being your friends. You want to have these two on your corner, because they're friends for life.
My goodness, the scene when Donald finds Bear all alone in the sheds is the sadest of all the "Donald finding Bear all alone" scenes of the adaptions that I've seen. Bear is facing the back of the sheds alone just shows just how upset he really is, not being able to bear (no pun inteaded) to look at the outside world and hiding away from the harsh gazes. It's just truly a depressing sight and it's accompanied by the sad music box playing. Donlad having this sad and sympathic look to him and probably thinking, 'Oh Bear...' His heart is aching for him. It's the human equivalent of Donald finding his friend alone sitting against the wall, hugging his legs, and his head resting on his knees, hiding in a disused room somewhere.
I also love the added shrunked pupils for Dudley when he gets kicked out of the NWR for good, sealing his fate for being withdrawned and scrapped. This is the end for him. Donald looks sad, knowing he helped sealed Dudely's fate and having to deal with scrap before in way (I'd argue Douglas had a more close call with the cutter's torch than his brother did), but he endangered engines, rollingstock, and people alike, they can't tolerate having an engine who is willing to hurt anyone to prove himself and stay alive. Donald and Douglas only took the blame for each other when they were able to swap tenders and despite Donald bashing that spiteful brakecan to get him to stop making his twin late, he never intended to smash him up nor did Douglas since he did it by accident. They never pinned the blame on anyone tht was truly innocent to be spared from the Fat Controller's wrath. They have morales while Dudely doesn't. Bear is a part of their family and anyone that messes their family is going to have to mess with them. This had to be done in order to protect Bear from the uncertian fate if this injustice kept up, though it doesn't mean he had to like it.
So aside from me gushing of how much I just adoring/anaylsing Donald involving throughout this entire adaptation, I gotta applaud you for the eveything else about this video. From the music choices to the expressions, to the sound affects to convey such emotions with the characters and all timing for all of them. I also love the little add ones to some stuff. Emily's "fight me" was a little funny. :)
I do wonder myself how Duck reacted once he caught wind of what happened. I honestly have no doubt he was there with Henry when he came back, he would have joined Henry on chewing out James and Gordon for their behavior. Even though we never got that, I do think Duck was like,"I left you guys alone for a few weeks and this happens again!?" He probably still would tell James and Gordon off for this though it's at a lesser extent, since he knows those two nonexistent ears are stil ringing from Henry and knew the two were very sorry, but his dissapointment in them is still here. It'd be nice if he offered Bear a lending ear and some advice after that whole trauama since he knows what it's like to have an engine that won many over, took a personal dislike towards you, framed you, and got your friends turned against you when you did nothing wrong.
All and all this was fanastic!
Wow wow wow.
You overanalyzing Donald was on point. Glad I did him justice since he's basically the Sherlock of this film and Bear's most prominent supporter (Boco was away at WellsWorth more than half the time). Also loved how you noticed how I used Fergus to amplify the peer pressure in that scene!
Glad you enjoyed it!
That scene with the FNAF music might be one of the most genius music choice of any Thomas video. You have done a great job with the Dudley faces. Playing with his faces seems to be a trend with a few of these remakes. Also, Your description just made "Demons' seem different.

0:33 look everyone Fat Hatt finally lost weight
Well if you ask me, I’d say that Dudley is a liar because he told his driver to derail the diesel, bumped the coaches to get Henry out of action, tricking Bear to collect the fuel tankers and not telling him about the faulty one disobeying the speed restriction and lying to the fat controller about Bear, the fat controller has already got Devious Diesel before and now Dudley is the next to be sent away because you know what Duck has said, “No steam engine would ever be as mean as that!” But Dudley is a very mean and selfish engine and a villain too by the looks of it
Didn't know Emily was a Worker Drone! Also the music at 16:17 sounds like Liam Vickers to me, if I'm not mistaken.
Not Liam Vickers, but it is MD OST LOL
