I honestly hope Lego produces the Hammerhead class cruisers for the fans, especially the old lore fans from the Legends, as the Hammerhead cruisers were a key role to the success of the Old Republic dating back to Knights of the Old Republic.

Ezra's hilt is just a binocular piece. That has been in production for ages. Not really unique. But Kylo Ren and Darth Maul definitely deserves custom ones.
Well, the Kylo hilt would be so fiddly to put together- since you'd need REALLY tiny versions of the pre-existing red beam piece and two extra holes on the already small default hilt to put them in. Maul though, there's no excuse to not have a proper staff-saber hilt [I mean the LEGO Star Wars games had one for him, why not the official physical sets?]. But then again, we're talking about a company that doesn't give us a new hilt for the blaster-saber or a new build for the Darksaber.

An idea I use for the flick missiles on display Lego sets is to just switch the mechanism around and load them. That way the extra bit that you "flick" is sticking out and looks like and extra laser cannon. May not be for those who like canon sets but I think it adds a cool little flare to sets, instead of random red bits pointing out the back of your guns for no reason.
Great review. I am a sucker for any of the Lego small to mid sized capital ships. This will look good with the Republic Cruisers and the Tantive IV. Which in universe it should be around the same size as I think? Also weirdly that hollowness of the rear moving sections? That's not a Lego cheat. That is actually how the CGI ship models are. Those two rear wings are just hollow boxes that fold around the engines. At least they were when the ship was first used in The Clone Wars series.
bought mine yesterday at Toys r us. I am disappointed by the size, but when trying to create a rebel alliance fleet, capitol ships are few and far between. started to late collecting to get the tantive or venator. So i am glad to add another ship. i love Ashoka and Tano. and when i build it i will modify the minifig space for better accommodations.
Great review and this set looks pretty well made apart from the inaccurate colors. Is there any interior past the handle or is it just technic junk because it is a shame they could of added more of an interior

To me, minifigs are of secondary significance in sets with 400+ pieces, let alone anything that's nearing a grand. I'd gladly sacrifice the new Ahsoka for more meaningful interior; I'm not exaggerating. This set's a rip-off owing to this!!

As a fan of Star Wars, spaceships, and Lego. I like this ship. I haven't watched Rebels. (don't have Disney XD) I was a big fan of the Clone Wars. I am happy to finally get a ship that fits in the series that isn't extremely out of proportion (Republic frigate and Venator cruiser). I am a bit of a special case since I only want this as a ship to mod out and will probably end up selling the minifigs.
I think it should have been scaled to be large enough to fit at least one minifigure in the command tower, kinda like the first order transporter. That would open it up to more detail, and add a lot of value to it. It would also hide that hideous gear box in the back.
I'm loving this! I wish I could afford even half of these sets, you have so many really really nice sets, just bought the tydirium shuttle, so happy I was able to grab it before it was discontinued

Which one should I buy, Resistance bomber, or This? I'm thinking about stripping down the interior and making it the heads of my fleet that I am collecting, but the bomber is also pretty cool too.
Personally I think that this set is reasonable and has good play features. The things I don't understand is why Ashoka looks demented with her eyes. Other than that the character is pretty cool with her lightsabers and all the details put on her. Another thing I don't understand is the price. Why is it 100.10 dollars when it only comes with so little pieces. I guess the figures but I don't know. The ship itself I don't remember from the show either. I guess you will just have to imagine it like if it's from the show. Ezra is good and agent Kallus is pretty cool but commander Sato is kinda creepy with that peach green face seen on the Palpatine figure. Overall this set is good if you have a big imagination but for collecting I would not recommend this set for the price and just the way it is. Thanks for viewing.

At ahsokas headpiece is a pattern missing. I would buy it but when the headpiece of ahsoka was complete. they had only one job and they failed that makes me really angry. i was so looking forward to this set :(
I'd love that Ahsoka Minifigure. Not the whole set, not to play with it, just the figure as she is easily one of my favorite characters from the (new) expanded universe/canon. I don't like the ones of a younger Ahsoka though from the series of The Clone Wars Lego sets, because i don't like the comic-y, anime style eyes the minifigures there have.

The carry handle is in the wrong position, it makes the ship look awkward
keep in mind one of the reasons this is so expensive is because of that massive print on the front piece

Hey Jang,on the ezra's lightsaber you put the light blade on the first stud of the saber because the second stud is used for shooting

Cool! Certainly not to scale with the Consular class models. The tower of this ship, in universe, is the same structure as a consular-class's bridge.

Ahsoka 's hands and face should have been molded in the same orange used on The Clone Wars Ahsoka minifig.

You could easily fix Ahsoka's eye problem by swapping out her head for one of her Star Wars: The Clone Wars heads.
They should have given Ahsoka a more white color for the lightsaber. That would make the set slightly better.
