He was trying to convince people that his overreaction (even if it had been a prowler in the bathroom it would have been hard to pass that off as justifiable homicide) was due to him being basically defenseless without any prosthetics on. I hope you never serve on a jury. It has everything to do with it. You have to put the jury in the mindset of the defendant at the time of the murder. And at the time of the murder he was on his stumps which makes him severely vulnerable to someone intending to do harm to him. His defense is that he believed it was an intruder. I have to regular legs and I’d still use a gun if I had one if I felt there was an intruder in my house. I rather kill someone who can harm me than risk harm in my own home. Your home is the one place you’re supposed to feel safe. His defense is that he didn’t feel safe and they’re displaying exactly why. I don’t understand how you can’t see how obvious this is. So again, PLEASE never serve on a jury because you’re too daft to weigh 2 sides of an argument.

So you not being able to stop in time when a child jumps in front of your car means you are at fault. So by your logic, you would have to volunteer yourself for prison time and admit fault for the death of that child because you were driving recklessly. Because you never know when a child is going to jump in front of your car so you should drive 5mph everywhere you go. Because one should ALWAYS have the foresight and instantaneous reasoning to make the correct decisions in split second situations. Right?
