Kaway Secka so am I and I only speak English and I wanna learn Wolof because my parents speak that language and they talk to other people in private in Wolof and I don’t know how to speak Wolof
Thanks for teaching the Wolof of Senegal. You are a great teacher. I've wanting to learn Senegal Wolof for years but the material is always for Senegambia. I speak french, italian, arabic and a little hausa. Now with your Wolof lessons I will be able to converse to my Wolof friends here in St.Louis Missouri. Merci mille fois.
I'm African American and according to several DNA test I've taken I am 40% Wolof, this is the largest percentage of my ancestry(Fulani-22% and Mende-20%, make up the two other portions of my African ancestry), so I found it fitting to learn the language, hey, these are my people, anyway thanks for this site, it's a big help.
Na nga def Friends? Am brazilian and it´s been great to hear Wolof on the streets of São Paulo and be able to talk with the Senegaleses. It reminds me also of my dear friends from Gambia back in London... Sending all my best wishes and regards to all of you from Brasil! Jere jeff for the lessons! Peace & love!

I've a question: how do you just say "hello" in wolof? Is that "Assalamu alaikum"?
“assalamu alaikum” is actually a muslim greeting which means “peace be with you”. hello is wolof is “nangadef”
